The Ten Commandments serve as God's life-giving word from Mount Sinai. They have formed the backbone of Western society and show us the heart of what God cares about for His people. Followers of Jesus would be wise to order their lives to these "10 Words" from God. 

Psalm 53 demonstrates the pervasiveness of sin in people. The problem with sin runs right through the middle of all human beings. God cares about those that are dominated by the powerful and will one day provide salvation from Zion. 

After charging Israel with being an unfaithful wife, God is now going to "woo" her, or allure her back. In Hosea's life, we see God's grace poured out on His people!

God warns Israel about what is going to happen because of her spiritual adultery.

The writer of Hebrews gives four specific exhortations on how one should live in the Christian community. How should I treat my Christian brothers and sisters based on living in gratitude? Hebrews 13 gives that answer. 

Jesus dialogues with a lawyer about what it means to love your neighbor and who your neighbor is.

In the sixth commandment, we are told plainly, "thou shall not kill." What does this commandment mean? Does this rule out military service? Does this lead to pacifism? What about the death penalty. We will tackle these questions in this podcast.

In Psalm 51, we get a glimpse into the soul of a repentant King David. David realizes that his sin is against God. 

In this reading, we get a look at what a Christian culture should look like. As followers of Jesus, we are culture builders due to the mandate to go and disciple the nations. What would that culture look like? We look at some of the answers to that question in Leviticus 19.
