Our reading today is the first account of God creating humanity. It's important to notice that God created man in His image because it seems like, more and more frequently, we try to make God into our image.

Today we read about God creating in the third, fourth, fifth, and part of the sixth day.

Genesis 1 tells us that God has taken a world that is formless and void and brings structure and boundaries. He also fills the void world with many living things and heavenly bodies. God has created a three-story world with the heavens above, the earth below, and the waters beneath. 

Paul is set to appear before Agrippa and the Roman Governor Festus. One will notice the central tenet of what Paul proclaims that Festus focuses on and that is the resurrection of Jesus. 

As Paul is still in prison after two years, we still see the same tired routine play out. And yet, Paul still stands firm in his faith, never wavering and taking every opportunity to share the gospel.

Paul appears before the ruling class of the Jewish people. Paul uses his knowledge of the situation and Jewish beliefs to navigate a tough situation. 

Paul's background is fascinating. He could speak multiple languages, was a Roman citizen, and had been educated in Jerusalem under the greatest teacher in many generations. He gave up all the acclaim to become a follower of Jesus.  

Paul finds himself yet again in the middle of a riot! This time, thought, his life is more in danger than before. We continue to look at Paul's journeys as seeks to tell as many people about Christ as possible!
