In this short Psalm, David reminds us that we are truly not self-reliant. 

How are the wise men different from the others in this story? They saw. They were looking and they saw. And when they saw, they were filled with joy.

In this Psalm, David cries out for help in a time of need. When one reads through this Psalm there is a realization that Jesus is the one that fulfills the longings of David. 

As the writer of Hebrews winds down his letter, he has a few last encouraging words for his readers, starting with "Obey your spiritual leaders."

The writer of Hebrews has presented a beautiful argument of the supremacy of Christ - He Is Better! And since we are under the covenant of the cross, we can enter boldly into the presence of God, knowing that we are loved and that He is faithful to His promises!

Psalm 68 was written to be sung as David and the Israelites brought the Ark of the Covenant from the house of Obed Edom to Jerusalem. 

John describes the Bride, which is the Kingdom, as she descends from heaven to meet the earth.

John shares the wonderful vision that he has of the new heavens and the new earth. We get a glimpse of our final home as followers of Jesus.
