The Imagination Brickshop’s LEGO Brickcast

LEGO Titanic Review | Is This 9,090-Piece Giant Still Worth It in 2026?

In this episode of Imagination Brickshop, we're taking a deep dive into one of the most impressive LEGO sets ever released — the LEGO Icons Titanic (10294)!

Originally released in November 2021, this massive 9,090-piece masterpiece recreates the most famous ocean liner in history at an incredible scale, stretching over 53 inches long and packed with stunning details from bow to stern. But nearly five years after its release, does the LEGO Titanic still deserve a place among the greatest LEGO sets ever made?

Join me as I explore the fascinating history behind the RMS Titanic and the incredible size and scale of the LEGO model.  I cover what's included in the build experience across 46 bags and 3 instruction manuals, Display value, building techniques, and standout features, and whether this legendary set is still worth adding to your collection in 2026.

From its elegant decks and towering funnels to its detailed interior sections, the LEGO Titanic remains one of the most ambitious building experiences LEGO has ever produced.

Before the NEW Hogwarts Castle expansion arrives… we need to talk about the LEGO Harry Potter giant that started it all.

Back in 2018, LEGO released set 71043 Hogwarts Castle, a set so massive it instantly became one of the most legendary builds ever created. At the time, it was the second-largest LEGO set in history. Even now in 2026, it still stands as the BIGGEST Harry Potter set ever made.

And with LEGO about to launch the brand-new Hogwarts Castle: East Wing on June 1st, the big question becomes…

Is the original castle STILL the ultimate Hogwarts experience?

We’re diving into:

Plus… I revisit the VERY FIRST YouTube video I ever uploaded back in 2018, when I built this monster for 13 straight hours. 😅

If you’re a LEGO Harry Potter fan, collector, or just love massive display sets, this is going to be a nostalgic trip through one of LEGO’s most iconic creations. Is 71043 still the greatest Hogwarts Castle LEGO has ever made… or has the new system finally surpassed it?

A legendary Batmobile is finally rolling back into stores, another Zelda set rumor is heating up, and Donkey Kong might be crashing into the Mario lineup sooner than expected.

Oh… and Pokémon fans? Yeah, things are getting out of control. New sets, mysterious SmartPlay rumors, giant buildable creatures, and one fan-favorite dragon that could become an instant must-have. Plus, we even have some nightmare-fueled images of leaks that will leave you scratching your head in disbelief.

We’re also talking:

If you love LEGO news, rumors, leaks, speculation, and way too much excitement over plastic bricks… this is the episode for you.

The LEGO news train has officially left the station and somehow picked up even MORE chaos this week. From one of the biggest LEGO Lord of the Rings sets ever made to BrickLink insanity, production delays, surprise reveals, and rumors flying faster than a Gondor beacon fire, there’s a LOT to talk about.

This episode covers the massive LEGO ICONS Minas Tirith reveal, including the latest updates on the GROND Gift With Purchase, while also diving into the absolutely overwhelming BrickLink Designer Series 11 voting period featuring a casual 578 fan submissions. Because apparently LEGO fans collectively decided sleep was optional. We also break down the upcoming BrickLink Series 8 pre-orders, including castles, trains, balloons, and enough wallet damage to qualify as a natural disaster.

But one of the biggest stories this week may actually be the delays. The rumored 12,000-piece Sagrada Familia set potentially getting pushed back is almost poetic considering the real building itself has been under construction for over 140 years. Meanwhile, the LEGO Pokémon Pokéball may also be delayed, proving once again that even LEGO release schedules can’t catch ‘em all.

On top of that, we’ve got new Pokémon rumors, Marvel busts, Disney surprises, a retro pinball machine, mysterious minifigures, and enough LEGO goodness to make your backlog feel personally attacked.

So grab a drink, hide your wallet, and come hang out for another packed episode of LEGO news and rumors!
