The Impact Lounge

Against All Odds 2019 is in the books and your favorite IMPACT Wrestling podcast, Total Nonstop IMPACT is back with Kyle & Trent and we are joined once again by Jaybone to round out the three man booth this week as we close out the Las Vegas tapings with this huge card!

What a night as we had Disco Inferno dropping Village People's Elbows on Scarlett Bordeaux, Taya Valkyrie scamming her way to a title defense, and crooked referees screwing Brian Cage out of wins! On top of that we had the death of one of IMPACT's most beloved characters, Allie as she suffered the ultimate fate in the Undead Realm at the hands of Su Yung.

The three man booth breaks the show down as well as looks at the highlights leading into the big Wrestlemania show United We Stand. With some matches being set up for Rebellion as well, the road to Toronto has begun as Cage vs. Johnny IMPACT as been announced, Gail Kim coming out of retirement to face Tessa Blanchard, and LAX challenging the Lucha Brothers to a Full Metal Mayhem Match!

We also give a major shoutout to Trent and his band HEMI for having their song Decay chosen to be the official song of the main event of Rebellion (#IMPACTRebellion) on April 28th 2019! Link to the song below.

All this plus a Dummy of the Week chosen by Jaybone and listener Youtube comments on this weeks episode of Total Nonstop IMPACT!

- Scarlett Bordeaux defeated Glen Gilberti

- Jordynne Grace defeated Taya Valkyrie (c) by Count Out. Taya retained the Impact Knockouts Championship

"Decay" - The official song of IMPACT Wrestling's Rebellion PPV: https://hemimusic.bandcamp.com/track/decay

Kyle's missing again so we reach into the trusted pool of IMPACT affiliates and this week the mighty Jaybone joins Trent to break down the March 22nd 2019 episode of IMPACT Wrestling!

Johnny IMPACT was avoiding reporters like the plague and said he doesn't owe the marks anything, especially any answers but he did explain why he turned his back on everyone. With Taya by his side it was inevitable that these two are going to use their power to run roughshod over IMPACT Wrestling!

We have been treated to another introduced element to the Jim Mitchell and Rosemary Undead Realm saga with the mention of "Him" but the question stands, if Jim Mitchell is the devil himself, who is "HE" and when does he arrive?

Moose was out for revenge against the Rascalz and pulvarized Trey Miguel for making fun of his fashion! The question now stands, are Dez and Zach next?

The Eddie Edwards and Eli Drake affair builds to more intensity week after week as they look ahead to the Tag Team Championships but can they coincide until then? Eli seems to be coming around to sharing the spotlight with Kenny while Eddie just wants to have a party. Time will tell!

Rich Swann and Sami Callihan brought all of their past, present, and future to head with a match for the X-Division title! The amount of anger displayed in one match was uncanny and while Rich retained his championship the story isn't over yet as Sami's newest addition to OVE, Madman Fulton arrived on the scene to take out Rich and Willie Mack and make his presence felt! Will Rich Swann seek revenge for this post match attack? Will Sami Callihan find another way to maneuver an X-Division title shot?

All this and a whole lot more as Jaybone makes his Total Nonstop IMPACT debut on the IMPACT Lounge!

Results:

- Moose defeated Trey Miguel

- Eddie Edwards & Eli Drake defeated Fallah Bahh & KM

- Ace Austin defeated Damien Hyde

- Willie Mack defeated Ethan Page

- Rich Swann (c) defeated Sami Callihan to retain the Impact X Division Championship

Better late than never right? On top of that, solo pod day for Trent! Scheduling issues this week prevented Kyle & Trent from aligning on a day to bring you the show but Trent came in at the 11th hour to make sure that the show goes on and breaks down the March 15th 2019 episode of IMPACT Wrestling live from the Sam's Town Casino in lovely Las Vegas!

Every story in the company was progressed on this show. It was an amazing display of concise writing and incredible storytelling as any featured story the company is currently telling was furthered and had involvement on this show which is incredible.

Johnny and Taya's heel turn and alignment with Killer Kross was something no one saw coming and it not only did wonders for what had become a stale first couple of the company but also kept Cage strong and Kross intriguing on his road to secret motives.

Sami Callihan is finally getting his crack at Rich Swann's X-Division title next week after OVE's big win this past week as well as Jordynne Grace becoming the #1 contender to Taya's Knockouts title while LAX and the Lucha Brothers are jabbing until the inevitable rematch happens!

We are off to the Windsor tapings after one more Las Vegas show and then IMPACT officially begins the road to Rebellion! Full show review plus your Youtube comments more this week on Total Nonstop IMPACT - IMPACT Talk for IMPACT Fans brought to you by the IMPACT Lounge!

Results:

- oVe (Dave Crist, Jake Crist & Sami Callihan) defeated Rich Swann, Tommy Dreamer & Willie Mack (18:20)

- Jordynne Grace defeated Tessa Blanchard in a Impact Knockouts Championship #1 Contendership match (9:30)

The Dark War has arrived and this time it isn't between hosts on the show! After last week's bloodbath we left the war to Rosemary and Su Yung's respective teams and watched from afar as souls were saved and others were taken!

Kyle and Trent are back this week to break down what was an action packed episode of IMPACT Wrestling from The Sam's Town Casino in lovely Las Vegas, Nevada in full detail. We saw some real interesting seeds being planted for a shift in World Champion Johnny Impact's attitude as well as Konnan's support of LAX along with some debuts, wars being settled and new ones beginning.

The investigative reporter Rolondo Menendez was bugging the living hell out of everyone trying to get to the bottom of all the scoops going on backstage at IMPACT Wrestling. He successfully rattled every cage imaginable and asked the hard hitting questions surrounding not only the World Heavyweight Championship but also the Knockouts title. Now that he essentially put Johnny on the spot to grant Brian Cage his deserved title shot next week, what will he uncover next?

The Disco Inferno showed up and made quite the impression backstage! In the matter of 10 minutes he went from calling Killer Kross a bald son of a bitch, hearing Vince Russo's voice, mistaking a doctor for Jeff Jarrett, thinking he saw Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks backstage, pissing off Scott D'amore, infiltrating the commentary table, spewing chauvinistic comments to a worldwide audience and getting involved in an inter-gender match in a few weeks! Only Glen Gilbertti!

All this plus this week's top 5 courtesy of one of our listeners, Dummy of the Week and Kyle's taquito tragedy! Only on Total Nonstop IMPACT - IMPACT talk for IMPACT fans!

Results:

- Rich Swann defeated Ethan Page (8:10)

- Ace Austin defeated Jake Atlas (3:30)

- The Lucha Brothers (Fénix & Pentagon Jr.) defeated The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz) (7:40)

In professional wrestling there have been epic showdowns over the years. We have seen some of the legends of the ring involved in some of the bloodiest, most emotional battles known to man but on this day, our very own Total Nonstop IMPACT was the stage for one of the most heated feuds in wrestling history as TNI’s resident Scumbag, Kyle Lawrence faced off against the Underhanded Outsider, Basil Mahmud with middle man Peacemaker Trent Zuberi in the middle!

We made our listeners choose sides, we tore homes apart, Trent was between a rock and a hard place, it got heated, things went crazy but we still managed to get a review out of the March 1st 2019 episode of IMPACT Wrestling live from Sam's Town in Las Vegas, Nevada!

Amongst the verbal jabs, the insults, cheap shots, low blows, and anger we took a deep dive into what has become IMPACT Wrestling's highest viewed Twitch broadcast to date and a very exciting progression to every major storyline in the company right now.

Dummy of the Week returns along with the Top 5! All this and more on the only IMPACT Wrestling podcast in a talk show format.

A swerve!? A reverse hostile takeover!? What is going on the last few weeks at Total Nonstop Impact!? As an attempted revenge for last week's Backstage Boys takeover by Trent bringing Basil on the show to stand in for Kyle, Kyle now tried to turn the tables on Trent and solo pod! But alas the Trentster was onto the Kyleman and ran in at the 11th hour to get on the show!

What an episode we had to kick off the Las Vegas stay for IMPACT Wrestling at the Sam's Town Casino! The World Heavyweight Championship picture continues to get more and more layers added to it as Johnny escaped death once again by enlisting the help of Brian Cage to help him out next week. Kyle & Trent give their thoughts on where they want the title picture to end up but as of right now it is moving a little slower than expected.

Sami Callihan makes hospital visits! But no this isn't some Make a Wish thing, this is a visit with an ulterior motive as he finally cracks Rich Swann's shell and gets him to accept the family that wants him. Will Rich formally join OVE?

Chacha Gama Singh rocked the Rascalz, Trey Miguel, Dezmond Xavier, and Zachary Wentz with that Old Country Blend and his special super hitter hookah! The Rascalz have never had anything like this and it showed!

Tessa and Taya legit hate each other. We are convinced this is never going to end. Ever.

Is Eddie Edwards hardcore? Wait, is Eli Drake hardcore? We thought Eli hated hardcore? Doesn't Eddie like it though? Hang on what the hell is happening here?

LAX did it! They finally snapped! Enough was enough and LAX, Ortiz & Santana came up short in their rematch with The Lucha Brothers, Pentagon Jr. and Fenix but while they didn't leave with the belts, they left with the Lucha Brothers' masks! We are off to the races, there is no stopping this train now.

All this and more on this week's episode of Total Nonstop IMPACT - IMPACT talk for IMPACT fans brought to you by The IMPACT Lounge!

Results:

- Killer Kross vs. Moose ended in a No Contest in a #1 Contendership for the Impact World Championship Match (4:10)

- The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier & Trey Miguel) defeated The Desi Hit Squad (Raj Singh & Rohit Raju) (w/ Gama Singh) (6:20)

- Eddie Edwards defeated Eli Drake (10:37)

- Alisha Edwards vs. Delilah Doom ended in No Contest (1:55)

- The Lucha Brothers (Fénix & Pentagon Jr.) (c) defeated Latin American Exchange (Ortiz & Santana) (w/ Konnan) to retain the Impact World Tag Team Championship (11:55)

As IMPACT Wrestling got ready to wrap up their stay in Mexico they did it in style by presenting Uncaged on February 15, 2019 headlined by Johnny Impact defending the IMPACT Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship against Brian Cage, Killer Kross, and Moose.

But wait the other voice you hear alongside Trent is not our buddy Kyle, oh no that’s a whole different voice but it sounds like it should be familiar. But even before we tell you who that is what the hell happened to Kyle? Again he has missed a taping! Where is Kyle? What has happened to the Kyleman? To the scumbag from New York? Well truth be told ladies and gentlemen the Kyleman is sick and potentially on the brink of facing his mortality as he battles pneumonia in this harsh New York winter. But to cover his ass we got an even better ass. A guy who is a good brother brother. A guy who came through in the clutch late night and a guy who had some awesome insight and you might’ve heard on Trent’s other podcast The Backstage Boys, Basil Mahmud is in the house to talk Uncaged!(and take jabs at Kyle in the process!)

Quite possibly one of the most unpredictable shows of the Mexico tapings with a very hot made event that left everybody wondering what is next for the world championship. Only time will tell as we are now heading to Las Vegas to see where all the distraction left in Mexico ends up back home in the United States.

Some very interesting feuds were set up as titles were shifted in Mexico and now upon the conclusion of Uncaged we have Taya Valkyrie as the Knockouts Champion, The Lucha Brothers - Pentagon Jr. and Fenix as a Tag Team Champions, Rich Swann as the X-Division Champion and Johnny Impact as the World Heavyweight Champion. after some very conclusive momentum changes in Mexico one can only imagine what’s next!

Join Basil and Trent for a full breakdown and analysis along with discussion of past and present experiences with IMPACT Wrestling and a whole lot more on this weeks episode of Total Nonstop Impact - IMPACT talk for IMPACT fans brought to you by the IMPACT LOUNGE!

Results:

- Taya Valkyrie (c) defeated Tessa Blanchard in a Street Fight to retain the Impact Knockouts Championship

- Willie Mack defeated Ethan Page

- Team AAA (Aero Star, El Hijo del Vikingo, Psycho Clown & Puma King) defeated Team Impact (Eddie Edwards, Eli Drake, Fallah Bahh & Sami Callihan) to win the 2019 World Cup

- Johnny Impact (c) defeated Brian Cage and Killer Kross and Moose in a Four Way match to retain the Impact World Championship

One of the most anticipated tag team matches in IMPACT Wrestling history was set to take place on this episode on February 8th 2019 live from Fronton, Mexico as LAX Santana and Ortiz defended their longest reigning tag team championships against The Lucha Brothers, Pentagon Jr. and Fenix! The crowd was Cero Miedio'ing all night long for what has already become a match of the year contender!

This Rich Swann and OVE/Sami Callihan thing keeps getting weirder. What is he holding over Rich's head? It can't just be the poverty thing, there has to be more, right?

Rosemary continues to haunt Su Yung and Allie. Hidden messages, disappearing acts, optical illusions, and more keep pushing Allie to the edge. But where does Su Yung fit into all this? Can she keep thing at bay?

Johnny Impact is suddenly informed that his main event match at Uncaged, originally thought to be against just Brian Cage is now a 4-way with Cage, Moose, and Kross? This screws Cage just as much as it screws anyone else. What will happen at Uncaged?

Moose and Kross are not seeing eye to eye and in case you missed it, Trent recites the short story of the Scorpion and the Frog that Kross brought up as a metaphor for his position. What is going to happen with these two next week?

We also had a preview of what to expect for AAA vs. IMPACT next week featuring Puma King, Aerostar, Psycho Clown and Vikingo taking on Eli Drake, Eddie Edwards, Fallah Bahh, and Sami Callihan. Strange combination indeed but a little bit of everything for everyone!

All this plus Dummy of the week, our new Lyft partnership code of 'WETALKIMPACT' talk about AAW's Lucha City Limits featuring tons of IMPACT talent!

Back in Mexico City and while the Polar Vortex is freezing most of the US, things are heating up south of the border!

It's Lucha wars as The Lucha Brothers have officially given LAX a put up or shut up ultimatum and this time it's for the IMPACT Wrestling World Tag Team Titles and that match is set to happen next week following the Lucha Brothers big win in the 6 man tag team match to kick things off! But where does that leave Konnan? He knew this would happen but so far he's staying calm....for now.

Rosemary has upped her disappearing act to Houdini levels at this point and she is driving Allie insane! Literally insane, look at Allie, she looks like she has seen a ghost (literally)!

Strange Bedfellows unite as the unlikely duo of Eddie Edwards and Eli Drake join forces, somewhat reluctantly and take on the Rascalz but what the hell is up with Eli Drake? Is he hardcore, is he not hardcore, does he want the old Eddie back, WHY does he want the old Eddie back!? So many questions!

Rich Swann's dark history is getting revealed more and more every week. What's Sami's ultimate endgame? Does he want Rich to guilt him a title shot? What are they putting in the water in Ohio!?

NEXT PPV HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED - Rebellion from Toronto, ON at the Rebel Complex on April 23rd 2019!

What an interesting main event scene we have; Kross hates Johnny, Cage hates Kross, Kross, hates Cage, Cage also hates Johnny, Moose hates everyone! What in the world is going to happen when this power keg hits it's 3rd explosion? All three have beaten the champion at one time or another but no titles have changed. Johnny has been weakened but who will be one to deliver the death blow? So many contenders, so few titles!

All this and more as Trent goes solo this week while a new Dummy of the Week is selected! Enjoy Total Nonstop IMPACT brought to you by the IMPACT Lounge.

Results:

- The Lucha Bros & Taurus def LAX & Daga.

- Kiera Hogan & Jordynne Grace def Allie & Su Yung.

- Eli Drake & Eddie Edwards def The Rascalz (Wentz & Xavier)

- Psycho Clown def Fallah Bahh with a rollup.

- Moose & Killer Kross def Johnny Impact & Brian Cage
