The Impact Lounge

Viva la Mexico! Impact Wrestling is back in Mexico City once again to kick off a stay of tapings that involve a lot of people being angry at each other and gunning for championships. The heat south of the border has everyone fired up but hey, at least the margaritas are cold!

Sami Callihan and Rich Swann's storied past continues to level up more and more. We find a little more about what Sami has been holding over Rich's head but is that enough to make Rich repay the supposed debt he owes Sami?

We had the Impact debut of Melissa Santos in a backstage role to replace the departed McKenzie Mitchell and she did great! She not only interviewed Moose with his crazy Elton John sunglasses alongside Killer Kross but also Jordynne Grace and Keira Hogan with Rosemary making her eerie presence felt!

Taya Valkyrie was in action and quickly disposed of Keyra but made sure to call out the recently suspended Tessa Blanchard. When will these two clash again? How does Gail Kim fit in?

The Rascalz party in Mexico the only way they know how but AFTER the partying is done backstage they are in action against The Desi Hit Squad! Was the hot fire flame enough to take out Chacha Gama Singh's hit squad?

Scarlett Bordeaux makes her in-ring debut in 3 weeks! Set those DVR's gentlemen!

Ethan Page took on Trey Miguel in a singles match in a classic David vs. Goliath matchup that allowed Page to showcase his adaptability to the X-Division style even more!

In the most anticipated match of the night, Killer Kross got his shot against Johnny Impact for the Impact World Heavyweight Championship and this match did not disappoint from the brutality scale! Kross was out for blood but not on Brian Cage's watch! The title picture is stacked with all targets on Johnny. What can the champion do to withstand this onslought?

All this and more on Total Nonstop Impact brought to you by The Impact Lounge!

Mysterious text message received from Kyle by Trent at 11:49pm Thursday night, soon after Impact Wrestling went off the air. "Hey Trent, 6-foot 2 blonde, legs from here to Cleveland, we'll do the review later!" FIVE DAYS later and Kyle is MIA so what do we do? Who do we call to help review the December 13th episode of Impact Wrestling? Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome Cousin Bryan to the show who came in last minute to pinch hit for a missing Kyle! Where the hell is he you ask? Keep listening, we had a surprise reveal LIVE on the show!

What an episode! We had Ultimate X'ers qualify for the HUGE Ultimate X match at Homecoming and mental patients running rampant all over Las Vegas! What else could happen!?

Rich Swann faced Dave Crist to fill the third slot in the Ultimate X and in the process only further confused the whole situation with Willie Mack! What exactly is going on with these two? What is Rich hiding?

McKenzie Mitchell's dress proves there is a god.

Josh Matthews conducts an in-ring between the top two Knockouts in Impact Wrestling, Tessa Blanchard and Taya Valkyrie hyping their match at Homecoming for the Knockouts Championship and boy oh boy did it get heated fast! To top it all off, Tessa's day got worse when she found out that none other than Impact Wrestling Hall of Famer Gail Kim would be the special guest referee for the match! How much more can this deck be stacked?

Trevor Lee took on Trey Miguel for the fourth and final slot in the Ultimate X match at Homecoming in what was this Rascal's official solo debut and did he ever deliver! Hell it was so special, Trevor even shaved his chest for the match!

Konnan is pissed. Like really pissed.

Su Yung has officially turned Allie darker than the devil's heart and she is hyper-focused on destroying every other knockout in the way. Is Keira Hogan going to be first?

Santana took on Fenix in a singles match for a slight little preview of the LAX vs. Lucha Brothers Tag Team Championship match at Homecoming and they delivered like Domino's on a cold December night! If this match was any indication of what we have in store at Homecoming, just throw your money down now.

Johnny Impact doesn't seem like he likes Killer Kross does he?

The legendary Raven is having a lovely game of chess at the Shady Acres insane asylum when Eli Drake interrupts to talk hardcore wrestling and how much he loves, er..hates it! Did you ever think you'd see Raven facing off with Eli Drake in anything?

Chacha Gama Singh is still drooling over the Smokeshow Scarlett Bordeaux. STILL.

Brian Cage took on Moose in the main event and these two big behemoths literally shook the ring! When you look up the term "beat the piss out of each other" you'll probably see a photo of this match because they hit hard. Animal vs. Machine! And to top it all off? An escaped Eddie Edwards attacked Moose with a hospital gown on! What is happening!?

Results:

- Rich Swann defeated Dave Crist (w/ Jake Crist & Sami Callihan) in an Ultimate X Qualifying Match (4:07)

- Trey Miguel defeated Trevor Lee in an Ultimate X Qualifying Match (6:40)

- Fénix (w/ Pentagon Jr.) defeated Santana (w/ Ortiz) (8:45)

- Jordynne Grace defeated Ruby Raze (w/ Katarina) (4:06)

- Moose vs. Brian Cage ended in a No Contest (11:27)

Its the Adam & Ro Show!

Come one, come all you're all invited to the Monster's Ball! Bring your third eyes and maybe even some lemons?

Kyle and Trent are back with another edition of Total Nonstop Impact brought to you by the Impact Lounge taking on the December 6th 2018 episode of Impact Wrestling!

We had Jake Crist and Ethan Page qualify for the returning Ultimate X by taking out Willie Mack and the guy with the third eye, Matt Sydal respectively! Two slots left to fill but so far is shaping up to be a mix of varying styles in Nashville!

Allie on the other hand went full on darkside and is 200% under the spell of Su Yung! Poor Keira Hogan tried one more desperate plea to get her friend back to the good side but got taken out for her troubles! What does this mean for Allie? Is Rosemary going to do something about this? And where the hell is Father James Mitchell in all this?

Speaking of Father James Mitchell we come to find out who was the mystery balloon gifter to Eli Drake last week and of course it was The Monster Abyss! But that wasn't all, Abyss has locked in a Monster's Ball against E-LI DRAKE at Homecoming! This shall be bloody.

The Desi Hit Squad looked strong this week taking on a guy that hulked up by chomping on lemons mid match. You read that right folks, LEMONS! His name? Manny Lemons! All too real. But he got his lemon rung while the Desi Hit Squad continued their run to the top of the tag team division.

Eddie Edwards is still locked up in the nut house playing rock a bye baby in his recliner only to have a very familiar face from the past alongside him bestowing some very interesting advice. The one and only Raven let Eddie know that if anything, he needs to go even more and go even more insane, it's only natural to lose your mind once in a while. As if Eddie was crazy enough, he's got Raven instigating! Lets see how this pans out!

Konnan is PISSED AGAIN after LAX and the Lucha Brothers basically reneged on the peace deal that made just a week ago! Pentagon just haaaaad to Cero Miedo in Santana's face and Santana just haaaaaad to get pissed and now look what happened - Konnan's pissed! Either way, Homecoming is going to be insane for the Tag Team Championships.

Wait, when did the Rascalz get a fourth chair!? And wait, smoking Rascalz, Smokeshow Scarlett Bordeaux? Coincidence!?

The main event was a mixed tag full of flips, dives, hard hitting, and love affairs!? Moose might have been feeling a little left out that Johnny and Taya are in love and get to tag so he claimed Tessa as his girlfriend for the night to defeat Mr. and Mrs. Impact. It didn't work out for ol Moose as he go his antlers twisted and they lost the match but they got the last laugh on a post match attack that Killer Kross even tried to stop until Brian Cage and all 48 of his abs ran down and settled everybody down!

Another exciting installment of Impact Wrestling PLUS listener Youtube comments, general smartassery and more!

Results:

- Jake Crist (w/ Dave Crist & Sami Callihan) defeated Willie Mack in an Ultimate X Qualifying Match (8:40)

- Dark Allie (w/ Su Yung) defeated Heather Monroe (4:40)

- The Desi Hit Squad (Rohit Raju & Raj Singh) (w/ Gama Singh) defeated Damien Hyde & Manny Lemons (3:30)

- Ethan Page defeated Matt Sydal in an Ultimate X Qualifying Match (15:25)

Skinny Jean wearing millennials? Old ECW Hardcore guys that won’t back down? Choking the hell out of referees? Crying Panda Bears!? What in the hell is happening!!? Good thing that whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas because this week’s episode Impact Wrestling was triple 7’s all night long!

The Lucha Brothers, Pentagon Jr. and Fenix throw down against Rich Swann and Willie Mack in a match that had more acrobatics and high flying than Ringling Brothers and of you blinked you missed it!

LAX - Santana and Ortiz grant familia a title match at Homecoming much to the anger of Konnan who was not pleased with this happening without his knowledge. What does this mean for familia?

Jordyn Grace locks up with Katarina again and channels her inner Monty Brown with pounces that left Katarina all the way on top of the MGM Grand!

KM and Fallah Bahh are drowning their sorrows for losing the top spot on Scarlett Bordeaux’s list the only way they know how, getting BAHHHK wild in Vegas!

Referee Brandon Tolle tried to flex some ref muscle with Tessa Blanchard and gets a chokeout for his troubles! What does this mean for authority when it comes to the Knockouts Champion? What it DID get her was Gail Kim not having any of it! Will we see Gail again as they try to discipline Tessa?

Did we mention ULTIMATE X is coming back at Homecoming? Because it is!

What does Killer Kross want with Johnny Impact? Everyone is confused, especially Johnny!

The Rascalz make their debut and literally light the wrestling world on fire with their finisher, Hot Fire Flame! What else can we expect from Desmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz, and Trey Miguel as they keep blazing their trail in Impact Wrestling?

Eddie Edwards has been committed to an insane asylum and Moose is there to mock him and even read him his own book, Anything is Possible, as a bedtime story! Truly one of the most twisted segments in Impact Wrestling history, hands down!

Keira Hogan isn’t afraid and she’s ready to do whatever it takes to get Allie back. What does that mean exactly?

Eli Drake and Tommy Dreamer beat the piss out of each other! As much as Eli is trying to NOT be hardcore, he keep getting roped in but to his advantage, he’s pretty damn good at it! What happened during this match? But most importantly, what happened after once Eli got to the back!?

Full talk show analysis on the above, plus listener feedback and Trent’s top 5 this week. All this and more on Total Nonstop Impact - Impact Wrestling Talk for Impact Wrestling fans brought to you by The Impact Lounge!

Results:

- The Lucha Brothers (Pentagon Jr. & Fénix) defeated Rich Swann & Willie Mack (15:45)
