Unless you're continually being filled with The Holy Spirit and living for Him, you can't say you're fully alive in Christ. Your life should reflect Him working through you, but just doing things that look like you're in a committed relationship with God doesn't mean you are. Pastor Bill's going to show you today that you need to be continually repenting of any sin in your life and letting The Holy Spirit fill you again. A dead church just goes through the motions without any real connection or relationship with God.

A church that's on fire for God and growing every day in Him can still get distracted from Him and become stagnant in their faith. Pastor Bill wants to warn you today to make sure you keep being filled with The Holy Spirit, so your fire and passion for Him don't burn out. Even a church that still assembles and has teaching can be dying in their faith if they're not still being led and moved by The Holy Spirit. He'll move in you if you let Him, but your heart needs to be willing to live for Him and be led by Him.

As you're living out your life and trying to obey God's Word with everything you do, you might stumble into sin where God's judgment will eventually come if you don't repent. However, as you'll get to see today, you don't have to stay stuck there. God's forgiveness is amazing, and there's no sin that's too big for Him to forgive and restore you. If you realize you're in what Pastor Bill calls a mud hole of sin, just know that God still loves you and He promises to forgive you if you just turn from your sin and let God reignite your passion for Him that you had before.

You're going to look at the church of Thyatira today in Revelation as Pastor Bill shows you how God has no tolerance for false teachers in His church. The teaching against His Word in Thyatira was evil, but God gave the false teacher Jezebel plenty of time to repent of her sins, but she never did. And rather than showing her that her teaching was wrong, God's church tolerated it and let it happen. You need to protect your heart from anything contrary to God's Word, and keep yourself pure in Him.

God always knows what you're doing. He sees everything you do in public and in private, and your heart behind it. Pastor Bill wants you to know today that someday, God's going to act as a judge and make you give an account for everything you've done, whether it was for Him or not. He wants you to live completely sold out to Him, and not tolerating any kind of false teaching that takes your focus off Him. Your life should continually look more and more like God as you keep growing closer to Him.

God mentions certain doctrines and sins to the church of Pergamos that He hates that they've given themselves into. As you look at Him commending them that they were faithful to not denying God's name even in the face of persecution, Pastor Bill's going to point out today how God hated their pride. There were stumbling blocks in their church that would distract them from God, but their pride was still strong in their hearts. God promises to set you free from your sin, but it's all Him, and nothing you could do.

Satan doesn't want God's church to be strong, or to grow in their faith and closeness to God. He's going to do anything he can to make you stumble in your faith and turn your back on God. There's no greater blessing than to be a child of God, and with Him on your side, there's nothing you have to fear. Pastor Bill wants you to know today how powerful God is, and that you have a strong weapon to fight the enemy in knowing The Word of God. Know who you're battling, so you can always find victory in God.

Your life isn't guaranteed to be easy because you follow God. You'll have hope for eternity and joy from God that nothing can take away, but as Pastor Bill's going to show you today, that doesn't mean persecution and trials aren't going to come your way. Satan wants to do everything he can to make you deny your faith, but it's all only a test of your faith. You won't go through anything that God can't get you through. Your standing with God means more than anything people say or can do to you.

To say you're a Christian but not live out your faith is useless. God wants you to make a difference in the world, and to tell more people about His grace and the Gospel message. Pastor Bill wants you to know that there's a reward waiting for you in Heaven after your life here on earth. God wants to reward you, but you have to live out your faith and be active in pursuing closer intimacy with God every day. He doesn't want robotic faith where you just go through the motions; He wants your AUTHENTIC faith.

Your life needs to reflect God working through you. There are amazing blessings waiting for His children, but your heart needs to be in the right place. Pastor Bill's going to show you how your life needs to be free from sin and the things of the world that separate you from God. God doesn't want you to just follow “religious” practices that make it look like your faith's authentic when it's actually not. He wants to be at the center of your heart, and your service to be out of your love for Him.
