Memories of your childhood might be laced with scenarios of someone picking on you and those experiences stick with you into adulthood. There’s no actions or words or stories you can tell to make God love you more than He already does; all that’s left is believing in Him and having faith in the promises He’s made. Humans are beings of action; we think, therefore we do. Today, Pastor Bill reminds, how there’s nothing we can do to get in God’s good grace. The law of the old testament was set in place and even that was not enough to cover our sins. If there was anything you could do, don’t you think the law would’ve covered it? Alas, the only way to be saved is by believing in what Jesus has already done. He lived a perfect life and died for all the sins He didn’t do. There’s nothing beyond Him that will get you to God.
