Have you ever thought that forgetfulness can be a gift? Not the forgetfulness that comes with dementia or old age. You may remember what someone did to you, but you get over it. Joseph did this with his brothers, he had to forgive and forget what they did to him. Pastor Bill says, “God gave us this as a gift.” Jesus talked about forgiveness a lot in the Bible. He said, “Forgive others, as I have forgiven you!” Is there someone or something that God needs to help you forgive and forget? Let him use you!

Pastor Bill says, “The biggest blessing in your life can still come as you’re trying to figure out how to get through this life!” You can either live hanging onto all the junk or somehow you can watch the hand of God in spite of all of it. His plan is to work for you! He has great plans for your life, you just have to embrace it! Wherever God has placed you, wherever your ministry is, be a man or woman of your word. Do it right! Watch what God does!

Whatever situation you are in, if your heart is already connected to Jesus, you know you are saved, but God wants to save those around you. People need Jesus. You don’t know when you will be needed. Be faithful where you are, watch your heart and do the best you can with what you have. Someone will have a dream or a question they need answered. Someone will remember you, a person who you thought had forgotten about you. Pastor Bill urges you to be ready when they come.

Often times we feel like God is being silent. Maybe, He is trying to teach you to depend on Him. Sometimes you just aren’t being quiet enough. You have to remember that you are not forgotten! God said “I will never leave you or forsake you!” He isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Today Pastor Bill tells a story of how as he was sitting on his front porch, God sent him someone to remind him that he wasn’t alone and that he wasn’t crazy. God chose someone randomly to encourage him in his darkest hour.

Have you ever been awakened at night and felt pressed to pray for someone? When you feel that nudge, pray! Other times God asks us to text or call someone. When He speaks to you, follow what He tells you to do. Be obedient. You might be the voice of God that is used to speak to someone to let them know that they are not alone. Pastor Bill reminds you to remember the ones who are caught, imprisoned and mistreated. Listen to the father!

You don’t know what’s going to happen next in your life. It may get better and it may get worse. But you have to remember that God has never left you and will not ever forsake you. Joseph the “favored son” probably felt alone and forsaken. He was thrown into a pit and sold as a slave by his brothers. Sometimes it’s easy to focus on how you feel forgotten. You need to remember that everyone else feels this way too. Reach out and help someone to know that they are remembered and important.

Pastor Bill teaches today that God has taken each of us down a road of dreams. He will show you exactly what he wants you do. When you are at the bottom, in the pits of life, that’s when you have to hold onto your dreams by faith. God has other people coming into your future that you will able to offer help to because of what you went through. If you see someone who seems discouraged, you can be like Joseph and ask them how they are doing. Ask if you can pray for them. Be a servant!

God has placed you exactly where he wants you to be. He has placed you there for one of two reasons. Firstly, He’s placed you there so that you’ll still believe the dreams He’s given you. You just don’t know when and where they will happen. Secondly, with the spiritual gifts God has blessed you with, you can be a servant and see people no one else sees. Then He will open the door for ministry, just like He did for Joseph. His dreams started in the pits, but he rose up and all his dreams came true!

Pastor Bill today shares his story of coming to Christ at the tender age of 16. He was hyped up about the rapture and the kingdom. He had a dream to share all he was learning with those around him, but his little sister didn’t want to hear about it. Like Joseph he knew he had a dream that had come from God. When Joseph shared his dreams with his brothers, they wanted to kill him. His own father didn’t agree with the dreams he was having. Today were learn about what happened with Josephs dreams.

Pastor Bill teaches that temptation WILL come your way! There are some people you can’t be with, some places on the internet you shouldn’t go and TV shows you shouldn’t watch. You need to be like Joseph who had to walk away from the temptation of Potiphar’s wife. She tried to seduce him and he continued to tell her no. She ended up grabbing a piece of his clothing and tried to frame him. When temptation comes your way, you need to be prepared to speak to it or run as fast as you can away from it.
