Here’s the good news of Jesus: before He came to save you, all you could sow was bad seed. You had no means to sow good seed because no good was in you. In today’s message, Pastor Bill reminds us that since Jesus came, we now have the option to sow good seed. He came to save you from yourself and turn you in a new direction. You will reap what you sow, but with Jesus, that can be a good thing. Do you choose to sow good seed with Jesus’ help? Have you repented of your old bad seed ways?

God came to Jacob in a dream to save Him. But this was no ordinary dream. Jacob knew he was hearing from the Lord. It was vivid and specific. God can come to you this way as well. You may feel His presence in a dream like Jacob did, or while you are wide awake. God can make Himself known whenever He wants to. As Pastor Bill reminds you today, all you need to do is listen and answer God’s call. God wants you to come as you are, and He will keep His covenant with you forever. He is not into making deals.

God is omniscient. He knows everything; including everything that has happened, everything that is happening, everything that will happen, and everything that could have happened. He is outside of time and space and is too big for our finite brains to grasp. In today’s message, Pastor Bill ponders God’s awesomeness. Who are we that an omniscient, omni-present, all-knowing God loves you and me? But He does. He loves you more than anything in His creation and sent His Son to save you!

Today, Pastor Bill will warn you not to put your trust in your fleshly senses... Your sight can deceive you... The world that you live in has the tendency to look like what you want it to look like instead of reality. Pastor Bill will also warn you about trusting in anything that isn't the Lord or His Word. All of your senses can trick you... But the Holy Spirit will help steer you in the right direction even when your senses and desires want to drag you down. Call out to the Lord for guidance, He will always give it to you.

Today, Pastor Bill will remind you that Jesus doesn't need your help... Think about a dad working on a car, his young son comes out and asks to help. The young child probably won't be of much help to his father. But does the father tell his son he can't help? No! The father invites his son to help him so that he can teach his son and spend quality time with his son. Your heavenly father does the same thing, He doesn't need your help but He invites you to help him so He can teach you and spend time with you.

Today, Pastor Bill will remind you that for most Christians its easy to believe that God's Word is true and that He will work in their life... But its more difficult to believe in God's way. God's ways and deeds are higher than your own... You may be in a situation and see a clear way for God to resolve your problem but usually He has His own ideas. God will work in your life in ways that you would never expect. He will work in a way that solves or resolves your problem while bringing all the glory to Himself.

In today's message, Pastor Bill will share the story of the conflict between shepherds and Isaac's shepherds. Other shepherds kept stopping up Isaac's wells because he was prospering so much. So, Isaac just kept digging wells and everywhere he dug he found water. Pastor Bill will encourage you to never stop digging... Some will come and try to put you down and stop up your well... Because if you hold fast to the Lord, you will dig and dig and always find another well to draw from just like Isaac.

Today, Pastor Bill will share the parable of the sower. In the parable of the sower, a farmer takes seed and throws it everywhere... The farmer throws seed into the rocks and into the weeds, all places you wouldn't expect seed to grow. But, as Pastor Bill will remind you, you are also called to spread the gospel! Even in unlikely places! You never know where a seed will take root or how a soil may change! If you spread the gospel everyday... Imagine if just one seed takes root in someone's life...

In today's message, Pastor Bill will remind you that your Christian faith isn't purely about getting a free pass into Heaven... As Pastor Bill will share with you, your faith is about the Holy Spirit being poured out of you into those that are around you. When you asked the Lord to be your personal savior, the Holy Spirit took up residence in your heart. The Holy Spirit will overflow out of you and into others, providing an example of Jesus to others. Did the Holy Spirit overflow in your life today? Yesterday?

Today, Pastor Bill will remind you of some excuses that can be made for not running the race you are called to run... Maybe people will think you are crazy or maybe people might make fun of you... Take a look at Jesus's life. Jesus lived a completely perfect life, He never messed up once. But many people in the new testament thought that He was crazy for healing on the sabbath and for other miracles He performed. You must run your race like Jesus did, not with scornful disregard but with a joyful attitude.
