Forgiveness is in short supply in our world. We’re so concerned with our own comforts, conveniences, and ambitions that anyone who stands in the way or holds a different opinion loses their value in our eyes. We may not say it out loud, but we start to look at them as a lesser person, and we tear them down in any way we can, as long as we still look good. As Pastor Bill challenges us in today’s message, as followers of Christ, seeking unity through grace should be our primary mode of operation.

Wow… what a challenge. If you look at our world with all of its technological breakthroughs, we like to think we’ve evolved to be the best we’ve ever been. But then you start reading the comment section on social media, and it opens your eyes to the truth that we’re more broken than ever. As Pastor Bill will challenge us in today’s message, as followers of Jesus, we’re called to be sources of unity. That’s easier said than done, but with the grace and compassion provided by the Holy Spirit, it is possible. 

You’re being watched at all times. I’m not talking about Big Brother or the NSA or anything like that. We live on a physical plane, and we often ignore the fact that there’s a whole other world all around us, mostly unseen and unfelt. As Pastor Bill will remind us in today’s message, the angels and demons we read about in Scripture are real. They’re as real as we are. And they are a living witness of the choices we make from day to day as we choose whether we’ll live for God or live for ourselves.
