The Implanted Word Podcast

Running a marathon is easy. No, really! Anyone can do it. I mean, think about it. Taking a single step is almost as autonomous as breathing. Now, all you have to do is take one step after the other… forty-five thousand, seven hundred si… okay… maybe it’s not that easy. In today’s message, Pastor Bill teaches that it may not be easy, but you can do it. Today, your marathon’s finish line ends at Jesus’s feet. It will be tough, but you can do it. All you need to do is focus on one step at a time.

There’s a fierce howling wind. Water is beginning to run under the doors. The windows are completely blurred by the rain. You’ve lost track of the time, and you can’t tell if it is day anymore, or if the light you see is from the deafening thunder. This image might seem terrifying and fill you with hopelessness, but in today’s message, Pastor Bill will teach you that hope in Jesus will fill you with joy instead. Life will have storms, but the storms will pass. Find peace beyond the storms.

In life, you are running a race. Sometimes you may feel like you are in first place, and sometimes you may feel like you are having to crawl inch-by-inch as the pavement digs into your hands and knees. In today’s message, you’ll learn from Pastor Bill that the fight to finish is worth the blood and tears… because the Great I Am – Jesus Christ – is waiting for you at the finish line. If you’re in a crawl, get on your feet. If you’re having to walk, begin to jog. Run your race with grit and determination.

Every day, you come into contact with tens, hundreds… even thousands of people. As a follower of Christ, you are called to share the Good News of Jesus’s death and resurrection with them. Not only that, Pastor Bill will teach that you are called to compel them to come to know Jesus. Sometimes, it may be uncomfortable. You may not want to step on any toes or trap people in a corner. As you’ll learn today, sometimes kicking the nest is required. Get a little uncomfortable. Their soul is at stake.

It doesn’t take very long to look around on city streets or social media to discover that there are many self-conscious people. You’ll find people altering their appearance, burying their emotions, or yelling at others as a way of portraying how they view themselves. We all do this in one form or another. Today, Pastor Bill teaches that, regardless of what you’ve done, there’s still someone who wants you. There’s still a way for you to get to Heaven. This way… this someone… His name is Jesus.

One of the most outstanding characteristics of Jesus is His humility. He is a perfect example of someone worthy of everything this world and heaven has to offer, yet He went out of His way to humble Himself to serve others. In today’s message, Pastor Bill encourages you to take on this trait… Don’t think of yourself as a VIP when you walk into a room. Think of yourself as someone there to serve the VIP. Not only will you impact someone else’s life, but the Father will reward your humility.

The world will always worry and worry…just about everything! The difficult thing for us is that the world tries to convince us that we need to be anxious as well. In today’s message, Pastor Bill will tell you that you DO NOT have to worry or doubt because you only live in the world…you don’t have to depend on the world to provide for you! Thankfully you can depend on a much more powerful and worthy God! One that never lets you down and ALWAYS provides what you need, when you need it!

The Lord wants us to be fruitful! What does that mean? What is fruit and what does that look like for our personal day-to-day lives? In today’s message, Pastor Bill will show you precisely what that means and can look like for YOU! As an individual, not just for the broad spectrum of fruit for Christians. God has a special purpose for your life and He is going to do amazing things in and through you. The impact that God makes in your life is your fruit! What you create and leave behind is your fruit!

A true and real encounter with our powerful God is like nothing you have ever or will ever experience! It is literally out of this world! A supernatural experience that has no explanation except that it was clearly our God! In today’s message, Pastor Bill will show you how in the Bible we see other people had experiences with Him and now we have stories upon stories of God’s greatness all over the Scriptures! When was the last time YOU had an incomprehensible experience with YOUR Heavenly Father?!

We find that in this world we NEED Jesus! We also find that we still indulge in the world daily, which in turn makes us need Jesus more…it’s a never-ending cycle of sin, and then seeking Jesus. In today’s message, Pastor Bill will encourage you to seek God first! Leave the world in the rearview mirror, deny yourself of what your flesh wants, and run after God FULL heartedly! If you truly want to hear God and be in a meaningful relationship with Him then you must pick up your cross every single day!
