Being a Christian is SO much more than just words and actions. We see God tell and show us in the Bible that being a Christian is an inward heart posture, not an outward personality. Now it is still important to do those outward actions to show what’s really inside, but that comes after our hearts have changed. In today’s message, Pastor Bill will challenge you to look at your life and really ask yourself what your actions are communicating. Are they expressing a humble heart toward your heavenly Father?!

To truly know whether we’re saved from our sins and going to heaven, is to truly know our savior! We can’t trust and rely on someone we don’t know… or worse, they don’t know us. In today’s message, Pastor Bill will share how you must fully know God and allow Him to fully know you in order to be saved from your sins. For you to completely understand ALL that God has for you in this lifetime is for you to completely and faithfully seek after the Lord’s will and His word!

A Christian's life should produce fruit. It should have clear evidence of God working in it and reaching others. Today, Pastor Bill's going to ask you if that's what your life looks like. Do other people see Jesus when they see you? Is it so evident by how you treat others that there must be something giving you such joy and inspiring so much love? If you're in God's Word and living submitted to Christ, there should be fruits showing it. There should be evidence of God moving in your life.

When you give your life over to Christ, there's no more room left to live for sin. You can't serve two masters. It's time to let the sins go, and commit to following God's Word wholeheartedly and going wherever The Holy Spirit leads you. Today, Pastor Bill's going to encourage you to dig deep in The Bible: to study it, meditate on it, and ask God to make it clear what the purpose is of each passage. He'll make you understand what you couldn't before, and make it clear what the lessons are within.

Everywhere you go, it should be evident to those around you that you're a Christian. Your actions and how you interact with people should leave them feeling God's love for them. It should point them to Him. Today, Pastor Bill's going to remind you that every Christian's life should bear the fruits of The Spirit working in them. There's no limit to what God can do through you when you're fully surrendered to Him, but you need to be in His Word and ask Him to make it clear to you what it means.

If someone looked at your life and didn't know you, would they be sure that you were a Christian? Is what you focus on, spend your money on, or talk about more important to you than spending time in God's Word or telling others about God? Today, Pastor Bill's going to remind you to keep your focus up. Everything you do should be in light of eternity and according to how God's Word instructs us to live. We need to be in His Word and ask Him to make it clear to us so we can understand it.

No matter what's happened in your life, no matter how bad of a past you have, Jesus' sacrifice on the cross was enough for you. God can still forgive you and give you eternal life. In Him, as Pastor Bill's going to show you today, is a hope for salvation and a peace that passes understanding. It's a peace you can have today, and it's a peace that the world and its sorrows and trials can't take away. It's yours if you want it, and all you have to do is come to God in humility, turn from your sins, and accept it.

Only God can give true peace that the world can't take away. His peace is forever because He gives true rest for eternity for your soul. Today, Pastor Bill is going to point out that Jesus is The Prince of Peace Himself. To be totally transformed and be saved and to find the strength to keep running the Christian race afterward, you don't have to look any farther than Him. Ask Him to change you. Let Him have control in your life. Spend time in His Word, and let His peace flow over your life.

There's never an end to all of the work that can be done for God's Kingdom while you're still here on earth. You can always be growing in your walk with Him by spending time in His Word and doing what it says. You can always be reaching the lost with the same hope for eternity that you have. Today, Pastor Bill's going to remind you that once your life on earth is over, that's when those opportunities will be no more. That's when you'll be judged for all the things you did on earth, both good and bad. 

Who you spend time with matters to God. He calls you to live like Jesus and to go into all the world to preach The Kingdom of God. While there are moments you need to be reaching the lost to lead more to Christ, you need to be careful who you spend your other time with. Today, Pastor Bill's going to warn you against other believers who don't live according to what God's Word says. They affect others, but not in a positive way. Be on your guard against those that are close to you that can hurt your faith.
