Is there a sin unto death? Can we pray for our fellow believers who are in the midst of that sin? All sin leads to death so we are admonished to pray for those in sin. The Lord can give them life when we pray diligently. Before you preach to them, or quote a Bible verse, stop and pray. In today’s message, Pastor Bill encourages us to pray with confidence for those in sin. He gives examples from the Bible of people who died because of their sins. We often neglect the very thing, prayer… that can save a life.
Do you ever wonder where you will go when you die? Do you know for sure that you are going to heaven? God does not want us to live in uncertainty. We should never complain about our lives when we have the confidence of our salvation. Today, Pastor Bill admonishes us to know for sure that we have eternal life. He says we should know for certain that we are a born-again believer. He encourages us to live in the knowledge of His Word and know our salvation is secured every day of our lives.
Are you looking for truth and real meaning in life? Do you want your life to have a purpose? Many people look for satisfaction in the wrong places and end up in addiction and failure. They waste their lives chasing false narratives, possessions, and desires. Truth is found In Jesus. In today’s message, Pastor Bill teaches us that real life, eternal life, is found in Jesus. He reminds us that when we have the understanding of Christ, we are sensitive to real truth and find real purpose and lasting fulfillment in life.
Prayer is a truly amazing thing. It is one of the greatest privileges we have in life. However, many people ask, “Are our prayers really heard? If they are heard, who hears them and do they get answered? Why would God pay any attention to my prayers? I'm nobody.” Scripture has much to say about prayer. Jesus even gave an example of how to pray. In his message today, Pastor Bill encourages us to continue abiding in the knowledge of Jesus and our prayers will become more aligned with His will.
What does it mean to be confident? Confidence means feeling sure of yourself – not in an arrogant way, but in a secure way. Confidence isn’t about feeling superior to others. It’s a quiet inner knowledge of being secure in your belief. If we are dwelling in Christ, abiding in Christ, and living in Christ, we have the confidence to know we will be with Him in eternity. In his message today, Pastor Bill encourages us to be bold in our confidence in Jesus and be looking forward to His return.
We have all known people who we consider radicals. They always operated outside of the ‘norm’ and even outside the law sometimes. Some statements they would make would sound so outrageous that we thought maybe they were just not all mentally there. There were times when Jesus was thought to be a type of radical because he referred to God as Father. In his message today, Pastor Bill explains how God IS our Father. He is our God; Yahweh Elohim, and we are adopted into His family.
Following Jesus. The one thing it should be clear to everyone that you’re doing with every opportunity you have is following Jesus. It’s the only way to experience fully the joys God has for you in this life and maybe what other believers need to see to encourage them in their own walks with Christ, too. Today, Pastor Bill’s going to encourage you to always be sensitive to The Holy Spirit to guide you in the ways you need and to show you new ways to grow closer to God and to share Him with others.
Every part of your life should reflect Jesus living in you if you’re a Christian. There’s no limit to what God can do through a life that’s completely surrendered to Him in humility and that’s ready to serve. Pastor Bill’s going to show you today that your life should overflow with love towards others, with a passion to tell people about Christ. Even your death, if you’re prepared for it when it comes, can point people to Christ. In death, you have nothing to fear, because leaving earth only means entering Heaven.
The Good News of The Gospels isn’t news that’s supposed to be kept to yourself. It’s the news of eternal life; of salvation! There’s a whole world of lost people who desperately need to hear about Jesus and His sacrifice for them, so they can be saved, too. Today, Pastor Bill’s going to show you that Peter was trusted to build the church after Jesus was crucified, by teaching others about Him! It was and still is news for everyone, old to young, no matter the language, race, past sins or failures. It’s for everyone.
God wants you to serve Him and to let Him work through you wherever you go. As you see God use you as a vessel for His Holy Spirit to work, it’s important to remember to not ever think that it’s because of anything you possess that God’s working in you. Today, Pastor Bill’s going to show you that if you want your relationship with God to be as good as it can be, you have to serve God in humility. It’s through His power and might that you have anything, and He wants you to always depend on Him.
