How many really close friends do you have? You might have plenty of friends and acquaintances, but really close friends are hard to come by. In his message today, Pastor Bill will ask if Jesus is your best friend. The offer is there if you just accept it. Jesus wants to be your best friend, isn’t that amazing? You can be best friends with the Author of Life. Jesus is someone you can talk to, someone you can tell your fears, your joys, and your struggles to. You don’t have to be lonely with Jesus by your side. 

Have you ever gone to a courtroom? A court has two parties: a plaintiff and a defendant. And the judge casts the sentence. Our sin breaks the law. And as a result, our broken law of sin is repaid in death. But because God couldn’t stand to lose us, He gave us Jesus Christ. And Jesus is our defense lawyer. He will argue, speak for us, and even die for us. But because He’s our lawyer, He fights tooth and nail for us. Today, Pastor Bill reminds you that you're in good hands when you have Jesus as your lawyer.

Have you ever felt the guilt of your sins? Today, Pastor Bill needs you to know that we are not only born of sin, but we pay the price for our sins without God. In today’s message, you’ll learn that when you repent of your sin, you are forgiven because of the Grace of Jesus. When you are born into this world, you are born into sin. But if you die with sin still in your heart, the price for your sin is eternal separation from God. So God sent His Son to die on the cross because only His Son, Jesus Christ, was worthy. 

Do you find yourself lost in the world? Sometimes, you may go through your life in and out of church and forget your identity in Christ. In case you forgot, Pastor Bill reminds you that you are the Light of the World. In today’s message, Pastor Bill tells you that when you forget who you are and where you’re supposed to be, look to God, and He will reveal that you are a LIGHT WALKER. Before we come to Christ, we walk in darkness. But because of the Grace of Christ, we are cleansed of our sins and step into God’s Light.

If you’ve been a loner your whole life and are coming to Christ, Pastor Bill tells you to STOP! It’s not good for Christians to be alone in their walk with Jesus. But let’s back up a bit… why isn’t it good for Christians to be alone? Pastor Bill reminds you that you are joyful when you walk with Christ and share that with others. Part of being a Christian is joining other Christians to indulge in fellowship. Just like the disciples broke bread with each other, you should have that with other Christians.

Imagine yourself in Apostle John's shoes. You witnessed every miracle. Jesus did every healing and teaching; you got to see it all. Now, if it was your job to make other disciples in Christ, wouldn’t you want the world to see what you saw? To hear what you heard? And to believe everything you believed? In Today’s message from Pastor Bill, He dives right into 1 John to drive in a single point: We saw Him. John and the other disciples witnessed Jesus Christ perform miracles, die, and resurrect. 

If there’s one thing Pastor Bill wants you to take home today, it’s that your relationship with God is the most intimate kind of relationship you can have. To nurture any relationship, you have to spend an appropriate amount of time in the presence of the other. As the disciples had with Jesus, everything they witnessed led to them having the most intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. So, in today’s message, Pastor Bill speaks on Apostle John's message to the people. If you had ears to hear, would you listen? 

Have you ever bought a new car? Or got something you’ve always wanted? You worked, saved, and sacrificed and you finally got it! Whatever “it” that was. And then after a few months or possibly years, the excitement fades…that new car smell wears off. Well, Pastor Bill shares that you often search for “things” to fill that hole in your heart that only God can fill. Feeling that the things of this world will make you whole. But there is only one person who can do that…Jesus. 

Imagine playing a sport and the coach calls you into the game for the first time! Or you win a prestigious award and they call you up to the stage to receive it! What an adrenaline rush! Well, imagine the King of Kings and Lord of Lords calling you by name. Pastor Bill shares that Jesus is calling your name whether you hear it or not…He is calling you into a relationship with Him. A relationship with Jesus as your Risen Savior, friend, counselor, and brother…for all eternity.

Do you have a best friend? Someone who has been there through thick and thin? Well, Pastor Bill shares that Jesus is a friend like that and much more. He’s your friend, Savior and Redeemer. He gave His life so that, as Romans 10:9 states when you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved from your sin. So, say those words and believe them! The forgiveness of your sins and an eternity in Heaven is waiting.
