The Implanted Word Podcast

The Bible gives us a lot of revelation when it comes to the spiritual aspects of our lives. However, the Bible can also be very practical. Have you ever wondered what the Bible has to say about general happiness or things that we go through on the day-to-day? Well, in today’s message, Pastor Bill will be sharing one of the ways that the Bible instructs us on how to be “Happy.” When we “wash the feet” of other people and serve them it does something to us. There is a sense of Happiness and fulfillment in serving others!

God is love. Let me repeat that, God is love. Today, Pastor Bill says that Jesus didn’t come to judge us, but came to save us. God wants you to be saved. Because of God’s love, He is able to look at you and see not a sinner, but a child of His. Jesus died on the cross for you. He chose to go through with his death even though he knew the pain it would bring because He knew it was the only way for you to have a chance at Heaven. God is calling you to trust Him today, He wants to give you freedom only found in Him.

Have you ever been given something that you know you didn’t deserve? Today, Pastor Bill talks about how the death and resurrection of Christ are enough for us. In order to believe in Christ you must believe in the whole story of the gospel. God sent His son for a sinner like you. His son went on the cross to take the penalty of your sins and give you a chance to be with the Father. If you do not believe in Christ, God wants you to. He is offering you freedom in Him that can’t come from anything else.

There is no news that has more power than the power of the cross of Christ. Today, Pastor Bill says that the cross has the power to draw people in. When you use the cross in conversation, people will come to know Him. The great commission is to share the gospel with all people. The best way to do that is to use the power of the cross to cause intrigue. If you do not believe in the death and resurrection of Christ, God wants you to have faith in Him. Choose Christ today, you won’t regret it.

When we live for the world, it becomes all that we hold our value towards. Today, Pastor Bill says that there is no value in what the world offers. True value comes from believing in Christ. When you have hope in Christ you will find that life on Earth only has one purpose, to share the gospel with all nations. Without belief in Christ, your hope is based on things that have no value in eternity. Trust in God today and He promises eternal life through Him.

When we are faced with an exam, it is pretty simple, we either know the answers or we don’t. In today’s message, Pastor Bill says that Christianity is the same way. If you get the gospel, you will know it, the people around you will see it, and your life will be changed forever. If you haven’t taken your next step with Christ, today is the perfect day to do so. You will see a drastic change in the way you view your life and the world around you. Trust in God today and He will guide you to a life of freedom and joy.

Do you remember going on vacation as a kid and asking “Are we there yet? Over and over again? Well Pastor Bill shares, just like the disciples, you often ask God the same question in different ways. When is Jesus coming back? Are we as believers at the end of our time on earth yet? How long Lord!? And God’s response to you is much like that of your parents on that vacation road trip in a loving voice…you’ll know when we get there or I’m driving, we’ll get there when we get there.

Have you ever thought about how amazing it was to land astronauts on the moon? The mathematical calculations, the design of the rocket, and how do you get them back to earth safely? Incredible! Well as Pastor Bill shares, God's timing of the events of the coming Messiah, Jesus, and His death, burial, and resurrection are truly out of this world. How God fits all the pieces together from the beginning of time to the end of this world is breathtaking and worthy of praise.

If someone offered you the most incredible, life-changing gift that would last forever, would you say no? Well Pastor Bill shares, the gift of salvation is what Jesus has offered all of us. But you have to say yes. And you must say yes before it’s too late. In 2 Corinthians 6:2, the Apostle Paul says that “Today is the day of salvation”. So, if you haven’t said yes to Jesus and accepted Him as your Lord and Savior, today is the today. Your life will be forever changed and there may not be a tomorrow.

Imagine all the advertising you see and hear. Thousands and thousands of impressions are made on your eyes, ears, and ultimately your brain every week! It can be hard to tune out those voices and forget about those powerful images. But Pastor Bill shares, despite all the noise around you, there is one person who deserves your full attention…24-7…Jesus. Jesus deserves your praise, devotion, and love because, without Him and His death and resurrection, you would be dead in sin…forever.
