God is so faithful and can be trusted to keep his promises. How do you know? God gave you a book that shares the evidence of His faithfulness and promises kept. The Bible. As Pastor Bill shares one of the most miraculous promises God kept was the promise to Israel. And this promise, as well as many others in the bible is proof, He will keep his promises to you. So don’t lose heart if you feel like God has forgotten about you. He promised not to leave you or forsake you. Just as He promised Israel.

It’s scary to think about what the world will be like during the tribulation. What the bible has to say about that time on earth is true. As Pastor Bill shares, we know it’s true because the bible is true. The stories shared in scripture are not fantasy or made-up tales by men. They are the inspired word of God. But why would God want to share such events as what life will be like during the tribulation? One reason is that He is a just God. And He wants to warn you that his judgment is coming.

It’s as simple as that. But we can make it so complicated. You can feel that once you clean up your life, and get rid of this or that bad habit then you can come to Christ. But as Pastor Bill shares, Christ is inviting now. He wants a relationship with you just as you are. But you have to make a decision. Do you want to keep going down that highway on your own? Under your own strength and ability? Or do want to just get on that bus and let Jesus do the driving? The choice is yours. But you have to choose.

That can be an easy trap to fall into. We can begin to judge others and look down on them for not putting their faith in Christ. But, as Pastor Bill will share, we must guard against that kind of attitude. Because when you accept Christ as your lord and savior, the opposite should be true. Don’t judge people on whether they are saved or not. You should be praying for and encouraging everyone to have a relationship with Christ. A relationship that goes beyond just church attendance.

That’s kind of hard to imagine, isn’t it? God has it all figured out, yet he still gives you the opportunity to CHOOSE to have a relationship with him. Pastor Bill shares that both can be true. Why? Well for one, He’s God. And his ways are higher than our ways. He can do many things that in this natural world we can’t understand or wrap our heads around. But when you get to heaven it will all make perfect sense. Until then, as Pastor Bill says, accept Jesus’ invitation to get on the bus.

Did you ever have a math teacher ask you to complete an addition problem by using subtraction? Probably not. That would be impossible, wouldn’t it? Well, not for God. Pastor Bill shares that God was able to ADD to the number of Christians in the world by allowing the Nation of Israel to SUBTRACT themselves from the faith. This allowed the non-Jewish people of the world to receive the good news of Jesus. Which you’ll learn was part of God’s plan all along. So yes, God can ADD through Subtraction.

You no doubt have made a few plans, in your life. Either as part of a work assignment or just planning your next family vacation, you’ve had to make some plans. As Pastor Bill will share, God has made one very important plan. A plan that involves the nation of Israel. A plan that God has promised to follow through with. So, while OUR work, vacation, and other plans can fail, God’s plans never fail. He is faithful and can be trusted to do what He says He will do. Yesterday, today, and forever.

We can make things so difficult, can’t we? And the Christian life is a prime example. All the disciplines of the Christian faith are important and have their place. But you can quickly lose sight of the why. Why are you going to church? Why read your bible? As Pastor Bill shares, Jesus is the reason you should be doing all those things. Jesus is the answer to the “whys”. Keeping your focus on Jesus will help you keep your life in focus and full of purpose. So yes, it’s that simple. Keep your eyes on Jesus.

That can all sound kind of confusing even to a long-time believer in Christ. But Pastor Bill shares an important point. Today is the day of salvation. Today is the day to see your spiritual life more clearly. If you’re a non-believer, put your faith and trust in Christ before it’s too late. If you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, don’t be blinded. Pray that God would remove whatever blind spots in your faith you may have. So that you can also see more clearly and receive a “second touch” from God.

What a comfort that is. No matter where you are or what you’re doing God wants to save you. He’ll even come looking for you. With open arms ready to receive you as His own. Just like a lost son or daughter, he wants to find you as any loving Father would. Pastor Bill shares that you can trust God in this. Why? Because He always keeps His promises. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He has to be. Because if He wasn’t, then He wouldn’t be God.
