Today, you’re in for a great episode. I’m taking a break from my solo episode and bringing in a guest today. It’s so important to get little nudges and reminders to take care of yourself. Today’s guest is a health coach for women over 50 and my Canadian Instragram friend. Lynn shares the importance of moving your body each day through her coaching and also shares how important it is to fuel your body with the right foods.
If you are putting your health on hold or not taking time for yourself, you risk so many health issues both physically and mentally. In my first year as a caregiver, I gained 30 pounds, developed IBS and struggled with depression. Once I found a good morning routine and focused on eating the right foods, I started feeling more energy and joy.
Don’t get me wrong, I struggle on those hard days, but taking care of yourself can keep you grounded.
I encourage you to listen with an open mind and take the nuggets that may help you. It may be her suggestions on morning habits or what to pack when you are at a doctor’s appointment or how to fit in the time when your life is super busy.
