On the latest episode of NBA Takedown, Jon, Jeff and Shawn go through some of the more unfortunate situations in the NBA to compile the first "Down Bad" rankings of the 2025-26 season. They begin in New Orleans, where the Pelicans have an argument for the most down bad start to a season this decade. After that, they head to Memphis to discuss the Ja Morant fallout with the Grizzlies, whether the situation can be saved, and where Ja Morant might be traded to if things don't rebound. They then finish up by looking at some of the other tough early NBA situations around the league, including Brooklyn, Charlotte, Dallas and more.
