Khadija Gbla is a human rights activist, entrepreneur, speaker, facilitator, philanthropist and mentor based in Adelaide, Australia. She's one of those people who you can't help but be inspired by and she has such an ability to empower others, to create the change that is so needed by leading by example with her phenomenal work and an incredibly inspirational powerhouse.
Izzy Silvers is the Associate Editor at Hearst Studio and works in the commercial content studio. Izzy is a true trailblazer and innovator in her field, and is always pushing forward her ideas for a more inclusive world. We are so honoured to be joined by Izzy to share her viewpoint.
Jacqueline is the President of techuk and is a true champion and inclusive leader. When we founded The Inclusive Viewpoint we made a commitment to make sure we share viewpoints and perspectives from outside the fashion industry as we think in those moments are where you can learn the most. For us, Jacqueline is a true embodiment of what a kind leader is and making sure that every room and every industry that she walks into, she’s opening the doors for others and has inclusivity at the heart.
Val is the co-founder of the phenomenal Role Model Management. Val is the true definition of a role model and has created such an incredible community and a whole army of role models who are creating positive change, and Val is the absolute embodiment of that - we are so lucky to have met her. We are so excited for Val to share her viewpoint with us.
Leanne is a model and she's the founder of the Model Manifesto. And for us, she's a true definition of what an activist is. She is so honest about her experiences and does whatever she can to use her experiences, talents and voice to help others and particularly to help young models who are coming up through the industry. We know that her legacy will be felt for many years to come and beyond. And she is always working towards driving a fully inclusive, fully diverse and accessible industry.
We're super excited for our first ever Viewpoint which is with the incredible Frederica Brooksworth. We met Frederica over three years ago now when she was delivering a talk at the London College of Fashion about her background and her career journey into academia. Now, Frederica’s story is one that we always come back to, particularly in those moments when we're not sure where to go next or we’re having moments of doubts, because Frederica’s story is one of such determination, such kindness, and all combined with her phenomenal talents.
