The Inconsolables

It's certainly been a week. We have to address the issue at large - we at the Inconsolables actively condemn all racism and police brutality, not just in the US, but at home in Australia as well.

Beyond that situation, Andrew and Paul have been on the C&C Remaster train, Sammy's given Hades a try, and MrsL is on more of her card game hype!

It's been a fairly quiet week, games-wise, and only one of us managed to find the time to watch the Wholesome Direct.

Sammy's keeping things running with some awful jokes, MrsL got seasick, Paul's a ManEater and Andrew's been obsessing over Terraria...

Oh Bethesda! Not again! You had a great game that everyone liked, but you had to beef it up with Anti-cheat software that made people wary of their private information. Ugh. Otherwise we have a show with all the Nuclear seasons of the year, Serious Samuels, G2A adding to the G2ACU lore, and a myriad of lovely team-building puns!

We need more gameplay! MORE GAMEPLAY!

This week, in light of the last couple of weeks of trailers, the fellas discuss the merits of CGI versus Gameplay trailers, chat about the shiny new tech that Unreal are peddling, and Ghost of Tsushima's State of Play!

Also, what's this business about the first ever Battle Royale making a comeback in the worst possible fashion?

Oh, and MrsL is MIA. Sorry :(

We can't sing. Well, collectively, we can't anyway... Andrew's getting older, MrsL's been getting slain by the spire, Sammy's been playing ALL of the demos, and Paul's become a beast...star.

On top of all that, atari's opening a casino, games and development is for nerds, and everything is toxic! Just another normal week with the Inconsolables!

This week, we're missing Paul, but we have GrumpyGamer to join in the chaos!

It's been a fairly wild week - Cooking Mama's story continued to evolve, Selena Gomez hates lootboxes, and Crysis is making a comeback?

That and more makes us very inconsolable.

Games released early, games releasing later, what's in a Release Date, anyway? Zac from News to Reviews joins us to vaguely dance with Andrew and Paul around the FF7 Remake's early release details - and Square's behaviour around content creators...

In other news, Sam laments his PC, MrsL is living her best island life, and Randy Pitchford is... well... being Randy Pitchford. Blegh.
