RGEB is joined by Haddiluddite (@anonNeoLuddite) to talk about being a Luddite in 2023, the incoming economic collapse/revolution (?), and to give RGEB some dating advice despite his undateable circumstances.
This week, an anonymous Twitter account named "DS" started tweeting about RGEB with my legal name, saying I'm anti-semitic for my tweets and podcast commentary about Kanye West's controversial interviews from late last year. He tagged my former employer and university, resulting in my school removing an alumni profile off of their website and publicly distancing themselves from me on Twitter. It was humiliating and drove me deeper into depression. Nevertheless, I invited "DS" on the podcast (he's scared of me writing his Twitter handle, which I'm respecting) and got interrogated for 2.5 hours about my thoughts on Kanye and whether I'm an anti-semite. Now I'm deeper in depression than I've ever been. I don't want to release the "DS" podcast because it's humiliating. But I thought I'd record an episode about this bullshit and the toll it's taken on my mental health. As Dave Chappelle once said, "Taking a man's livelihood away from him is akin to killing him." Let's see if DS's murder attempt ends up successful...
Rap Game Edward Bernays welcomes fellow pariah of the left Aimee Terese (@aimeeterese) to "The Infinite Jest" to discuss her political evolution over the years, how she became demonized by the left, the problems of identity politics and culture wars, and why she currently identifies as right-wing. RGEB also defends his identity as a Leftist, despite being dunked on by much of The Left over the couple years, and tries to find common ground with Aimee despite their political differences. And of course, there's also some talk about conspiracy theory and the role it plays in modern culture.
In perhaps the least schizo episode of "The Infinite Jest," Rap Game Edward Bernays is joined by M. Fergus Gabhainn (@uncle_authority) of Historic.ly for a deep dive on the War in Ukraine and the historic roots of World War 3 (which has actually been going on since 1949). M. Fergus educates RGEB on post-WW2 Nazism, why the Berlin Wall was good, why Zelensky is whack, and why Russia is bound to win this thing eventually. We also talk shit on Swedish eugenics, the Nordstream pipeline explosion, and the neo-fuedalism of Covid. This is the rare TIJ that's actually a history lesson and not just schizoposters shooting the shit so make sure to tune in!
RGEB is joined by his personal digital cannabis shaman The High Priest (@HostageNotes420) aka Chay for some truly trippy conspiracy talk. The High Priest talks about how the 2016 DNC Wikileaks emails turned him from a Bernie Bro to a schizo warrior. We also talk psychedelics, ancient Egyptian weed, sex magick, and a bunch of other trippy topic. Smoke a blunt, stretch your spinal chord, and enjoy this fun conversation that leaves RGEB with a cliffhanger.
"The Infinite Jest" welcomes Bread And Circuses (@phortuenti) to the pod to discuss their prior Bernie Bro-dome and how the 2016 & 2020 elections and Covid have affected their politics and Twitter posting. The boys also discuss the East Palestine catastrophe and the war in Ukraine, as well as the prospect of Ye running in 2024.
Rap Game Edward Bernays is joined by Twitter mutual Crystal Bunny (@crystalisfucked) to talk conspiracy theory, which she normally can't talk about with her friends and family. RGEB and Crystal unleash their inner "50 year old schizoposting in a basement" and talk Project Blue Beam, aliens, the fake moon landing, COVID, and the one-world government of the New World Order. Art Bell also makes an appearance before being knocked off the air by the deep state.
Rap Game Edward Bernays is joined by Twitter mutual and fellow Kanye super-stan CensorThisPodcast (@censorthispodc2) to discuss their longtime fandom of Ye, their favorite #ForbiddenKanye tracks and Ye conspiracies, why they've stuck with Yeezy through all the controversies, and how they're gonna hit the campaign trail for Ye 2024.
As the first guest on The Infinite Jest, "the internet's worst account" Slothrop (@gnocchiwizard) joins Rap Game Edward Bernays to talk about the perils of posting through the pandemic and becoming villainized as misinformation spreaders by Fauci Fanboys/girls -- along with some discussion about Kanye's recent shenanigans. It's a meeting of the minds between two Covid-era power posters, exchanging war stories about their efforts to spread truth and sanity in the craziest era of modern history.
After seeing the 2014 film "Inherent Vice" about 100 times, Daveö talks about reading the original novel by Thomas Pynchon for the first time and, of course, how the book is better than the movie. But Dave argues that Pynchon's heartbroken love-letter to the 1960s might be a lot more about Daveö's own millenial "counter-culture-that-got-away" of the 2000s, and rants about PTA not including any of that good ARPAnet shit in his film adaptation. "Blast for the past, man..." and a "bummer" all wrapped up in one long-lost capitalist imperialist romance...
