Our show is broken into eight segments. Here’s a breakdown of what goes down in today’s show!
Segment 1: After we open the show and talk about what it’s like to wake up at 3:30 in the morning, we poke fun at the Spanish language and its system of grammatical gender.
Segment 2: Zach looks at Joe Biden’s checkered past on racial issues.
Segment 3: We continue to look into Joe Biden’s imperfections and gaffes, and we look at some of George W. Bush’s notorious Bushisms as a comparison.
Segment 4: We venture into Hollywood to talk about Kristen Bell resigning her voice role as a mixed-race character due to her “white privilege” as well as a recent song by Eric Church that has ruffled some feathers.
Segment 5: We cover a couple of stories, including the protest to a statue of Abraham Lincoln because of its apparently racist nature, and the recently passed House police reform bill.
Segment 6: Zach takes a look at Democrats’ obstruction of a GOP police reform bill, and what it says about their governing philosophy. Also discussed is AOC’s invocation of the Bible in attempting to pass the Stop Loan Sharks Act and whether George Washington was really a racist deserving of having his monuments removed.
Segment 7: Athens, AL Mayor Ronnie Marks joins us in the studio to discuss the growth of the city of Athens, the city’s team of first responders, and the mayor’s campaign up to this point.
Segment 8: The interview with the mayor continues as Mr. Marks discusses his conservative governing values.
