This session has been brought to life by the soothing voice of Sophia Quinn.
In today's meditation we are going to feel gratitude for those moments of laughter we get to enjoy. We can appreciate how laughter is so contagious. You can be with your friends and one starts laughing uncontrollably. Not too long after that, everyone in the group starts to laugh as well. The energy of laughter can spread so easily and lift up everyone's spirits in the room.
We can be grateful that laughter can make us forget for a moment our problems and worries in life. For that moment we are enjoying laughter, we just forget about everything and enjoy how good we feel. We could be going through a difficult time in our lives, and then someone makes us laugh, or we see something funny that makes us laugh, and for that moment we are pulled away from our worries and feel a sense of happiness.
Let's acknowledge how laughter can connect people. When we laugh with each other, we feel closer to each other, we feel more trust towards each other. If we laugh with a stranger we have only just met, we instantly feel closer to them, and they start to feel less of a stranger to us.
And finally, I will leave you with an invitation to think about and feel what you personally appreciate about laughter? Have you shared an enjoyable moment of laughter with someone recently? Or is there anything else you appreciate in your life today?
