The Innerneath Podcast

*Eli Drake not whatever I said LA Knight's old stage name was. It's WrestleMania week, so there's a lot of events on the calendar from WWE including the Hall of Fame, two nights of NXT TakeOver, and the two day WrestleMania event itself. I'll be giving my thoughts on Mania, the nWo's rather disappointing Hall of Fame speech, and a preview of the first night of NXT TakeOver Stand & Deliver.Ironically, this is also the final week of the Wednesday Night Wars between AEW Dynamite and NXT.AEW has had it's own issues with slipping ratings. We discuss this and a possible idea that others are beginning to ask for AEW programming. New Japan Pro-Wrestling has been plagued with injuries and some fan complaints about booking. And in entertainment news, I discuss final episode of The Walking Dead Season 10 extra episodes, the next reaction series on the YouTube channel, and an announcement of my new Twitch channel.

World Wrestling Entertainment's annual battle royal special, the Royal Rumble, gave fans two winners that they seem to be completely happy with. In addition, Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens battled each other in a crazy Last Man Standing Match while Goldberg and Drew McIntyre fought over the WWE World Championship. A few wrinkles here and there, some surprises, and an overall solid show with one of the best endings to a Rumble match ever.Over in New Japan, Jay White returned (after not appearing in the Rumble as some suspected) to attack Tomohiro Ishii. It is a return that came out of nowhere as many expected him to leave the company or take a long break from wrestling which would have lasted months. It all seems to be a plan from the Switchblade. Where will it end? We'll find out.In entertainment news, we continue to review WandaVision from the Marvel Cinematic Universe on my YouTube channel. While the first three episodes left some scratching their heads, episode 4 answers many of those questions and even more about where the MCU is at in general. The Rantin Review PodcastRantin Review Episode 19: WWE Royal Rumble, Jay White Returns, WandaVision Explains
