In this episode I talk about my childhood and young adult experience with (undiagnosed) depression and social anxiety, my early lessons on self-responsibility, how I "recovered" through physiological, studious, and spiritual means, and how I continue to integrate the remnants of that time into my daily life. I also share some brief opinions on how pop culture and attachments to identities may collectively contribute to mental health epidemics, even if they are well-intentioned. Obligatory I am not a medical professional and this is not medical advice.
