The holidays can be a lot.
For many people, this time of year brings up emotion rather than excitement. Old memories surface. Expectations feel heavy. There can be a quiet sense of sadness, uncertainty, or simply feeling worn down.
In this audio-only episode, I offer gentle grounding and reassurance for anyone who is feeling a bit lost, tender, or overwhelmed during the festive season.
This is not a list of tips. There is no fixing, forcing, or pretending everything is fine. Just a steady, compassionate conversation about:
• staying grounded when emotions feel close to the surface• letting go of the pressure to have answers• accepting uncertainty without judging yourself• understanding why this time of year can feel harder than expected• giving yourself permission to slow down and be human
Even as a therapist and a medium, I do not have all the answers. And that is okay. Not knowing is not a failure. Sometimes the most grounded thing we can do is meet ourselves exactly where we are.
