Nikola Arkane is best known in her native Northern Ireland as a children's magician. Indeed, she is the only professional female magician there. She also is a close up performer and has recently won two IBM competitions and recently performed for a week in the close up room at The Magic Castle. 

We chat about her first and worst ever gig, the issues she had performing close up initially, her love of music and her new book all about the practical side of running a children's magic business.
