We are joined once again by José Aguinaga. After a great college career José was drafted by the New York Red Bulls in the 2018 MLS super draft. Aguinaga later moved on to play for Phoenix Rising after not getting the contact extension at Red Bull. José was an influential member of the team that won the USL Championship and went on to set a record of 20 games unbeaten.

José speaks on how he earned himself a Division 1 Scholarship to Rider university from Madrid, Spain. The process isn't as many people think, but José gives us an insight on how he managed to get his. We also touch on his experience at Rider university; things he liked, disliked and what he learnt from it.

On this week of 'The Insight Pod' we are joined by José Aguinaga. José speaks on his childhood memories of growing up in Madrid, Spain. He talks about how he first started his academy journey with Rayo Vallecano, after some very good performances over the years he was scouted by Real Madrid, after that he moved to Getafe CF. José speaks on some very good experience's and things that he's learnt over his time there and having had the opportunity to meet some of top players, as well as an introduction into how life would be as a professional footballer.

We're back checking in with Laurence Wyke. After a good season with the Atlanta United 2 and Impressing with the first team, Laurence earned himself an MLS contract. Wyke talks about how much he's learnt from being around the great players he's around now and having the self awareness to work on areas that needed improving and coming out of his comfort zone.

The Insight Pod catches up with Laurence as we continue to dive in on his journey. Wyke had to make a decision to either stop football completely for university in England or to carry on playing on a new adventure in the USA. We talk about his journey from Trinity University, Furman University and MLS side Atlanta Utd. We discuss the differences he's experienced within the different levels. Tune In!

We talk about he dealt with being released, taking his education seriously, until he was caught at a cross road where he had to potentially stop playing football completely. Tune in!
