With the ASB behind us, we have entered what is commonly called the "second half of the season". I find this wildly inaccurate, and it irks me - im weird, I wont apologize for it. Dont worry I cover all this inside. In addition to your typical updates, we also get into some trade deadline talk. Everyone is throwing around one name, Juan Soto, so we figured why not join the cause. We continue to stress the plethora of options available to our teams, and how trading prospects doesnt mean giving up the future. A lot of good talk, but full disclosure we do end abruptly due to Dad Duties. As always thanks for stopping by and letting us be a part of your week... enjoy.
Its that midsummer break, and we are here diving in to all things All-Star related. The drafty, the home run derby, the game itself. We even discuss how we wish there was more coverage for the Celebrity Softball game. Of course we take some time to tell our teams all the decisions they should make, and give ourselves some love for a strong fantasy week. The season is a little more than halfway over, but dont fret, we will be here bringing you your weekly Interleague fix all the way home. Thanks for making us a part of your work.
It was a quiet month as we both enjoyed ourselves some much deserved time off. Now you can fret no more because we are back. Bringing you a rapid fire session of updates for your Cardinal and Yankee needs. If the tune sounds familiar, its because we have said it before, but now more than ever its time to look to upgrade. Not sure what we mean? Tune in and youll hear all about it. The All-Star break is around the corner, but we are saving that for next week. We are happy to be back, and even happier you are here to join us. Buckle in, this one is a fun one.
Its that time of the week you have all been waiting for... new Interleague content. What a week in baseball it was. A perfect 6-0 week from my Yankees, and the Cardinals going 6-2 to boot. Lots of good stuff to talk about, and its fun when your team is winning. We recap our head-to-head matchup from fantasy, and discuss our matches for this coming week. I give you a deep dive on how special the Yankees rotation has been for the first third of the season, and we discuss some solutions to the great problem the Cardinals have in the abundance on young options performing well. Grab a snack, strap in, and thanks for making us a part of your week.
Life happened, and we unexpectedly took a week off - but have no fear we are back. Bringing you all the info from the last two weeks, and while it seemed like times were changing for both teams - the ships have been righted. We dive into the fortunate problem of abundant productive youth the Cardinals are dealing with, the surprising productivity from the Yankees starting rotation, and of course our thoughts on how the teams could get better. Things are good at the Interleague camp, lets hope this upward trend continues. Oh yeah - and we share a cry over our beloved Blues.. we will get em next year boys. As always, thanks for fitting us in to your week (and we apologize for the technical difficulties near the end of the episode - internets going to internet).
Your favorite Interleague podcast is back, and this week we are bringing you the biggest secret of 2022. Buckle in.... Oli Marmol isnt actually managing the team - the players are. Its pandemonium in the streets, the Cardinal way consists of throwing a position player while up by 13 runs. I will say this, at least its better than spending another week talking about Paul DeJong. The Yankees are flying high, and here is too staying humble and keeping the trend going upward. As always, we bring you the power rankings, and fantasy updates (begrudgingly as we both took L's again). Thanks for stopping by neighbor - its always nice to see old friends.
Whats up Interleaguers, your favorite baseball knuckleheads are back with another week of hot takes. Bringing you all things Yankees and Cardinals with a dash of our own pizazz. We cover a little bit of fantasy (it was a rough week for us both), Power rankings, Zeroes and Heroes, and a breakdown of last week plus the week ahead. Both teams have a chance to solidify what they can be this season, and we will be along for the ride for these next 3 weeks. If you find yourself visiting Busch this weekend, be sure to let us know on the Twitters. And most importantly LGB!!!
As the first calendar change takes place this baseball season, it comes with varying momentum for our clubs. The Yankees are firing on all cylinders, while the Cardinals are more accurately misfiring. We bring you our thoughts on the last week of baseball for each, keep rolling with Heroes and Zeroes, and of course give you that highly anticipated fantasy update. Stay tuned for more information about our new website that exists in name only, and dont forget to find us on the Twitters or Emails if you want to share your thoughts. Can we get a Lets Go Blues!!!
Welcome back Interleaguers - we took a week off unexpectedly, but fear not, we bring you an extended episode to really hammer home what we missed. Covering the usual suspects, we dig in to a breakdown of the Cardinals and Yankees performances so far. We give you our Heroes and Zeroes - update you on MLB power rankings - and of course let you know how things are in the fantasy world. As always, we appreciate you letting us fill a part of your week - its great to get another episode out there. AND.... we recently celebrated our 2 year mark celebrating 4/20. Thanks for making it all worth it.
We had to wait longer than expected, but Opening Day has finally arrived (plus some). With the first weekend of games in the books, we dive in with initial reactions - and discuss some of the light hearted topics that the early season has presented (not all of them though - so stay tuned for some throw backs). We also give you insight to how our fantasy teams are looking (warning: I get on my soap box). Look forward to this sort of coverage for the foreseeable future, the introduction of some new segment ideas, and hopefully some guests. Thanks for joining us after a week off, and dont forget to congratulate Chris.
