This week we explore first the rising cases of covid, mainly in the unvaccinated population in the US and across Europe. Then we move on to the various violent protest that has been happening in Haiti, Cuba, and South Africa—detailing the individual causes of each of the violence across the three different countries as well as what protesters are demanding and their impact on these countries' potential future. Lastly, we detail the technical achievement of the Virgin Galactic space flight.

This week we break the news with the initial information available on the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moise. This is a story we will continue to investigate as information becomes more and more available. Then we move on to the IOC decision to punish athletes for recreational marijuana, natural testosterone levels, and just more IOC controversies before the games begin. Lastly, we move to space or at least upper atmosphere as billionaire Richard Branson becomes the first owner of a private space company to go to "space."

This week Michael and Noah are dealing with multiple complicated crises that are tackling the world. The first we deal with are the discussions regarding vaccines. Then we move on to the scary trend across India and Brazil with the rise of COVID-19 and the implications. This week's main topic regards the conclusion of the George Floyd trial and the fact that Chauvin has been sentenced guilty by the jury on all three counts he's been accused of. This week, however, we detail how there is still a fight for police accountability, and the fight is not over yet as we describe other police misconduct that has been in the news very recently. Lastly, in our tech segment, we talk about all the details of the new Apple event. The implications for the podcast space and the increasingly competitive landscape. Then we talk about the Airbags, a direct competitor to Tile, and Apple is using its size as a competitive advantage. Then the main story with Apple for the past year is its transition away from Intel, with the iMacs being announced in a rainbow color set. Then a pair of new iPads.
