It's so important for me to connect to my body and feel my feelings. That's a form of self-care. However, there are times where my feelings feel more like a burden than a powerful guide. Disconnecting from my feelings has been a means of survival. How else was I going to move through life without being eaten alive? How else was I going to feel safe, loved, accepted and in control? It's become apparent that this perspective is disempowering, especially if these feelings are going to keep showing up. In today's episode, I share with you how I define guilt and shame and I walk you through some of my personal experiences so that we can reflect on the opportunities that these feelings present so that we can live authentically.
