The Inverted Creative Podcast

We had so much fun with the RCDB Game that we decided to try a new variation that Allison dubbed "I Spy"! And this one got INTENSE. Play along with us on one of the categories and see if you beat us! We will definitely be playing this again, so if you have some creative ideas for categories, let us know!

A few of us booked a trip to Atlanta for Arie Force closing weekend (before the Kumba closing announcement, otherwise we probably would have been there!), and it was quite an interesting experience. We talk about the mood that day, the closing speeches, some of the creative aspects of the ride, what the future might hold, and a lot more. Also, a quick Alabama Adventure recap from Allison and Mike!

Longtime friend Meg is involved in the coaster community, but has long said she's not a thoosie—meaning, she doesn't really know manufacturers or stats, but she loves the rides and the friends made along the way! We chat about a lot, including our history with Buzzed Bars, some of the favorite places we've been to together, quizzing some of her limited park knowledge, and of course her horror movie podcast!

Matt is one of Allison's local friends, who we met through one of our crazy weekend trips years ago and haven't looked back since! Matt has an engineering background, which influences his love of the hobby and his creative views of coasters. We talk about that, some of our past trips, our shared appreciation for the social side of Buzzed Bars, and more!

The World Cup just ended, but we got inspired to host our own little bracket! Out of 16 countries, which one has the best overall top five coaster lineup? We argue our thoughts, even though there are some countries we struggled to figure out a top five for—either because there are too many coasters, or not enough. Do you agree with our picks? Disagree? Let us know what you think!!

Trying out something new...it takes us about an hour to get through trip recaps, but after that, we get into our main topic of being "Coaster Focus"ed on Ride to Happiness! We go through all the creative aspects we can think of for the ride, including onboard audio, layout, station theming, train design, and more. It's a ride experience that truly makes us all happy!!

Allison, Mike, and Alex went on a road trip over the July 4th long weekend through Minnesota and Iowa, and we’re giving you a car recap on our drive home! It was quite an eventful trip, hitting 7 parks in 3.5 days, and we all picked up some new creds. We also go through all of your “This or That” questions that you gave us! Advance apologies for the audio quality since it was all recorded on a voice memo while on not great Indiana highways.

This week, Allison, Mikhile, and Nate do a deep dive on Architecture at the parks! Mikhile came in this week prepared and we discuss various architectural styles and decisions that stick out to us at some of the parks we've visited. We also had some fantastic listener comments on this topic that we go through. And, did you catch that updated intro? :)
