On this VRA Investor Agent Podcast episode, we have the pleasure of interviewing Hannah and Tyrone Taylor. 

Tyrone and Hannah Taylor are a local real estate power couple based in West Chester, PA. Inspired by vision, powered by perseverance, and glued together by grit, what started out as a big leap of faith into the industry has transformed into their growing real estate enterprise which includes a rental portfolio of residential and commercial units and several businesses. Their ventures include the investment and property management firm Anchor Property Investment Solutions, and their real estate education and coaching academy, REI Takeoff, which is planned for launch in June 2023. Hannah is also a PA licensed Realtor with VRA Realty and serves as the brokerage’s Onboarding Coordinator. Along their journey they have acquired deep knowledge of the industry through wholesaling, flipping, and managing properties at scale.

Hannah is originally from Salt Lake City, UT and spent the first ten years of her professional life as an educator, ultimately retiring as a high school English teacher in 2018 to pursue her passion for real estate. Tyrone was born and raised in Philadelphia. A businessman and entrepreneur at heart, Tyrone has cofounded and owns several other businesses including a sustainable infrastructure development firm that has built waste-to-energy facilities, and a 501c3 nonprofit focused on STEM workforce development. Both from humble beginnings, they have always shared the common goal of wanting to create a lasting legacy through real estate investing.

In their downtime, Hannah and Tyrone love traveling to explore new places and enjoying the outdoors with their 4-year-old son, Tre.

Matt's wife, Amanda, is from Tennessee, where they own a beautiful lake house that they frequently visit when not rented out as an Airbnb.

Throughout his career, Matt has achieved remarkable success, having closed a total of 2400 properties to date. His dedication to his work and clients has earned him several accolades, including the KW Culture Award from KW International in 2018.

Matt is a well-respected member of his community, known for his hard work, integrity, and commitment to his family and business. He continues to inspire others through his achievements and dedication, and there is no doubt that his impact will continue to be felt in the real estate industry for years to come.

Stephen began his real estate investment career in an acquisition and development company in Chester County. With his partner, he grew their North Philadelphia student housing portfolio from a $20,000 vacant lot to a portfolio valued at an estimated $4 million. 

He has served as Director of Leasing, managing local and national expansion strategies for both tenant and landlord representation assignments along the east coast; gained experience as an investment sales broker in the retail NNN lease sector, specializing in shopping centers and QSR; and was a founding member at Investco LLC, which focuses on multifamily assets using crowdfunding platforms in the Philadelphia region. 

Notable achievements over his almost 20-year career include negotiating and closing approximately $1 billion in lease and sale transactions and completing three multi-family syndication funds totaling over $3 million. He currently holds a real estate license in Pennsylvania and is an active member of the International Shopping Center Association (ICSC).
