Andrew Wagner is a writer, a researcher, an analyst, and a passionate advocate for economics education. He is the author of “The Economics of Online Gaming: A Player’s Introduction to Economic Thinking”, a book about using an online game to better understand economic ideas that apply to the real world.
He is also the founder and Chief Investment Officer of Wagner Road Capital Management, a Minnesota-based registered investment adviser. Through his firm, he provides investment consulting services to professional fund managers and manages investment portfolios that identify and invest in high quality companies. His professional experience covers consulting projects in a wide range of investment strategies, asset classes, and industries, and his ghost-written research has appeared in national and regional publications. Andrew received a master’s degree in Economics from Kansas State University, where his research paper was “The Economic Consequences of Network Neutrality Regulation.
