The country has been rocked by back to back mass shootings, from the one in Buffalo, New York, to the school shooting in Uvalde Texas, to the most recent one in Oklahoma. We’ll talk about the recent events in our country, the response from our lawmakers and I’ll also sit down with The Stay With Me here Podcast’s Jacob Shropshire to talk about the recent shootings and other major political headlines.

Republican and Democrat voters across the country headed to the polls this past Tuesday to vote in primaries across the country, setting the stage for some of the most heated races for this year’s midterms. We’ll talk about who won, what was surprising, the upsets and the races yet to be called. 

Last week in a shocking leak of a draft opinion, Politico reported that the Supreme Court was planning on overturning the landmark Roe v. Wade decision in a 5-4 ruling. This leak sent shockwaves throughout the country on both sides of the political aisle as one of the most contentious topics of modern American politics is slowly approaching a decision. We’ll talk about the fallout from the decision, what both sides have been saying, what’s next and how this affects the November midterms, and have Special guest Ben S. to discuss the news.

President Biden is in Europe right now amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, to meet with NATO and European partners to discuss defense, deterring Russian aggression and the strategy ahead.
