Here we meet two stewards of the plant-based food movement. Their story is inspiring and filled with life lessons that at some level apply to all of our journeys. The plant-based food revolution is upon us. It is of great importance, and it is intertwined with the health of our planet and our species.
We are very pleased to introduce you to Phil and Danea Horn, the inspiring founders, and owners of the Burger patch in Sacramento California. The Burger Patch has quickly become one of my favorite vegan or vegetarian places to eat. But this is about so much more than plant-based burgers or the vegan diet. It's about a vision of kindness: kindness for the body, for the mind, and for the planet.
The L.A. Times called him "Different"; UPROXX described him as "the best kind of crazy"...and Fox TV said he was "the world's foremost dumpster diver!"
I'm not quite sure how to describe Rob Greenfield, but here's a start: If you were religious you might say he's 'doing the lord's work'. If you are an environmentalist, you would likely call him a hero. No matter what kind of a human being you are, after listening to this episode I bet you'll agree that he is a truly inspiring brother with a huge heart, a big mission, and possesses the creative brilliance that can cause actual change.
In this episode, I talk to Rob about his life's story, his incredible activism campaigns, and life during the quarantine. Visit his website at www.robgreenfield.org
The marvelous and magnetic Tommy Rosen- there's no one in the world quite like him. His energy and enthusiasm for life are contagious. The founder of the revolutionary program to heal addiction, Recovery 2.0, he is a man that has plumbed to the depths of humanity and come up with a heart full of gold. His inspiring story of overcoming the painful cycle of addiction is a testament to the capacity of the human spirit. If his powerful wisdom doesn't uplift you, his infectious personality certainly will.
The human behind an otherworldly sound. Simrit, stepping into her vulnerability, opens up the vault of her origin story as a Greek orphan, and shares with the world how she became the musician, artist, and woman that she is today. An emotional tribute to the power of perseverance, grit, passion, artistry, and love. If her music has yet to find its way into your heart, her humility, grace, and strength certainly will.
You've never heard a tribute to Dr. King quite like this... It's an honest and authentic honoring of the man, his mission, and his legacy that continues to unfold before us today.
It's a powerful transmission. Underneath the surface, something much more subtle is being communicated. There might not be words for whatever that thing is, but trust me, you can feel it.
Jai Dev delivers an illuminating discourse to the essence of Prosperity. He uses a penetrating wisdom to pry apart the context of our life, expanding the mundane into the miraculous and giving us a steady target at which to aim our wealth of life-energy.
It's practical, it's powerful, and just a nugget of this stuff is enough to uplift the energy of your day and help you prioritize the things that matter most.
From her first words, Lei'Ohu Ryder will wrap you in the embrace of her loving presence. She embodies the deep wisdom of a grandmother and the joy of a giggling child. To listen to her teachings and hear her enchanting stories is to receive the infinite blessings of unconditional Love- the living spirit of Aloha. You've never heard anything quite like this… mystical tales of ancient scrolls, the grace of divine beings, and the infectious laughter of those living solely by laws of their heart.
SPECIAL EPISODE: Much more than a reggae artist, Vaughn Benjamin was a Rasta King, a prophetic lyricist, and a talent beyond description. He recorded over 70 albums, most famously with the iconic reggae band, Midnite, and later as Akae Beka. I sat down with three friends who knew Vaughn well and worked very closely with him musically and otherwise: Kenyatta Itola, Ryan Ishence Willard, and Sista Kat. Simrit also drops in and shares her experiences with Vaughn's transcendent music and presence.
