Kara Lindsay made her broadway debut playing Katherine Plumber in Newsies alongside, Jeremy Jordan. After that experience, Lindsay went on to play the role of Glinda in Wicked on Broadway, and portrayed the same role with the touring company of the same show. Once her experience came to a close, Lindsay portrayed the role of Cynthia Weil in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, up until the second trimester of her pregnancy. Now, she and her husband Kevin Massey, have and 8 month old son, named Emerson. Kara is a true force of nature in the broadway community, and I hope you all enjoy listening to our conversation in this weeks episode.
This weeks episode is very special because it's my BIRTHDAY EPISODE! My guests this week include my former camp counselor, Corrine, a cameo (sort of) from Tkacee, my favorite teacher of all time. Additionally, I challenge my two best friends, Lily and Sarah to see who knows me better. Enjoy this weeks episode!
In addition to listening to part 1, here more fun with Roxanne and I in part 2 of this weeks podcast:)
Roxanne Steele has been mentoring me since day 1 of my career. Over the past few years, she has taught me a lot about working at a popular radio station, to being In the business overall. In this week's episode(s), for the very first 2 part podcast, listeners will get the chance to hang out with Roxanne and I to talk about radio, life, and much more.
In this weeks episode, listeners will get the chance to hear me chat with Ashley Argota. Argota is known for her role on Nickelodeon's True Jackson VP opposite, Keke Palmer. She has made guest star appearances on various television series on other Nick shows, as well as shows and movies of Disney Channel and Freeform. In addition to acting, Ashley has also accomplished a singing career, and collaborated with former Jayme Starr Podcast guest, Lindsay Pearce. Argota also portrayed the role of Young Nala in The Lion King tour when she was little. I hope that everyone who listens to this weeks episode enjoys getting to know Ashley:)
Micaela Diamond is known for her work playing Babe, the youngest Cher in The Cher Show on Broadway. Last year for my graduation, I had the opportunity to see her talent in person, and was blown away. Fast forward a year later, and I am so happy she is on my podcast with me. In this weeks episode, get to know Micaela, listen to us "Turn Back Time" as she tells stories about working with/playing an ultimate icon, and much more. All I know is that "You Haven't Seen the Last of Her.", and She will absolutely win a Tony Award someday. Thank you so much to Micaela Diamond for hanging out on the podcast this week.
Special Shoutout to Micaela's mom, Karen
Well, this episode is a first. For the very first time, I have completed my very first podcast collaboration. This week, I have collaborated with Alexa Randolph from Staying Forever Strong and With Love, Alexa. Together we talk about life, and figuring out that we have grown up right around the corner from each other (literally...... our streets are right around the corner from each other) Thank you so much to Alexa for this awesome collaboration.
