People will follow a leader who has done the work to earn their trust. Leadership is about influence and getting results in a way that earns and inspires trust.

True leadership comes from stepping aside and allowing others the opportunity to lead. True leadership is understanding and accepting that there are others smarter and more capable than you at certain things—and at certain times, they need to be the one leading. True leadership is having a Strong Ego that has a team focus and not a Big Ego which has a self-centered focus.
