By the fall of 1970, the Jesus Movement was a spiritual tsunami wave cresting over the United States. At the time, I was a yoga teacher at four universities and running a yoga ashram in Tampa, Florida. It was an incredible era when supernatural, divine interventions were commonplace. I was miraculously swept into the Kingdom of God in a day’s time. Then, four months later, I gave away everything I owned to hitchhike across America preaching the Gospel on college campuses and in downtown drug districts. What happened was amazing! This is my story.
