The Canadian Jewish Literary Awards are being presented in Sunday, October 26th. The CJLA recognizes and rewards the finest Canadian writing on Jewish themes and subjects. On the first half hour, you will hear Edward Trapunski, chair of the awards jury. After that, Rochelle Zucker talks to Winnipeg native Ezra Glinter who is this year’s winner in the biography category for his book about The Lubavitcher Rebbe - Menachem Mendel Schneerson. The segment is rounded out by music by popular artists from the Chassidic community.
