Specific Métis organizations have received relief funding but how easy is it to access those funds?  Will there be any accountability or transparency with this money?  And where is the leadership from these so called "governments" to help people navigate this crisis.

We are joined by the current president of The Association des Acadiens-Métis Souriquois, a Métis organization based in Nova Scotia.  We have a great conversation about their goals, organization, community and much more.

We talk about the Métis Nation non profit organizations response to the Covid 19 pandemic, the large amounts of money they are going to be receiving and exactly what they have been doing for Métis people so far.

Today we break down some of the statements made in various interviews and statements by leadership within the MMF/MNC.  From statements of condemnation for the solidarity movement and protestors, comments made about Ontario Métis, and their pride and joy at their partnership with resource extraction corporations there is a lot of things to work through.

Heather Morigeau joins me to talk about bringing some of the White Bison healing programs too Calgary.  Programs such as Medicine Wheel and the 12 Steps as well as the Mending Broken Hearts program.  Her work through Freedom's Path Recovery Society has been able to train several facilitators and launched the programs over the past few months.
