  • Selling Courses and Information Products
Today I want to talk about planning, building, and marketing your own online courses.
Even if a full-blown online course isn’t something that you’re ready to invest your time in creating, you do have options. For example, you can create a shorter eBook or PDF whitepaper (information product) to test the market with. If the sales are good, you can create a larger product or course from there.
If not, you haven’t invested a lot of time or energy in the project. As a bonus, you’ll learn quite a bit about sales and marketing in the real world.
In the big picture – creating, marketing, and selling courses can provide your business with additional streams of income that will add to the bottom line.
That and more in today’s podcast!

  • A World of Possibilities for Business Growth
    https://www.jimgaliano.com/subscribe
Many people get discouraged when they hit a ceiling with their income or business growth. Despite all the books, courses, videos, and mentors who stress the need for hard work and perseverance, people still expect to hit it big and they expect to do so – quickly.
When that doesn’t happen, despite the warnings, they grow pessimistic and want to give up. The truth is, there is still a world of opportunities out there for entrepreneurs of all ages and backgrounds. You just won’t be able to find them trying to be “like everyone else.”
In today’s podcast, I want to talk about planning and building with a better “tomorrow” in mind.

  • A Bright Future with Organic Marketing
In today’s podcast, I want to share a few thoughts on “organic marketing.” The organic marketing strategy is designed to attract people to your website naturally, over time, without relying on paid advertising.
With diminishing returns (ROI) on paid advertising, this strategy is more than just a viable alternative. It’s a strategy that has already stood the test time.
With this approach, you can build your brand, build name recognition, and create a platform that will power your business into the future. If you’re willing to invest the time and effort, you’ll get a lot from today’s episode!

  • Go Big – The Big Agency Business Model
In today’s podcast episode I’ll be talking about the “Big Agency” business model. This is the business model that focuses on delivering higher-ticket services to larger-sized businesses.
If you’ve ever thought about what it might be like to “GO BIG,” today’s extended episode will give you plenty to think about!

  • You’re Never Too Small to Think Big!
It’s great to run a smaller, profitable business with less (or fewer) moving parts. However, you may find yourself wondering from time to time how much “greener” the grass may actually be on the other side of the fence? What if you want to give it a shot and go BIG?
In today’s podcast, I want to talk about GOING BIG and working with high-dollar, high-profit clients.
The good news is, you can test the waters for yourself and see (once and for all) if the big-business, high-dollar business model is the right fit for your future. That and more in today’s podcast.

  • Economic Threats – Present and Future
    https://docketwp.com/
Over the past few years, we’ve seen an increasing number of products and services become more or less commoditized in their respective marketplaces. It may be happening in yours?
Products and services become commoditized (from a pricing standpoint) when consumers can buy the same, basic items or services from a variety of different business outlets – both large and small.
When commoditization occurs, the paying public sees price as the primary distinguishing factor between brands. In other words, quality and dependability are barely distinguishable from one service provider to the next.
This makes it difficult for companies to increase their prices because competitors are offering the same or similar products at lower prices.
In today’s podcast, we’ll talk about how businesses have traditionally handled this kind of challenge as well as how you can do the same.

  • Investing in Digital Assets You Own and Control
A recent malware hack on an old webserver of mine led me to reexamine the systems and tools I use to run my day-to-day business. What systems do I directly control and what systems are more or less under the control of others? Is there such a thing as “giving away” more control than necessary?
These are good questions to ask yourself. Do you more or less have direct control over the systems that power your business? Or, do you rely on others or to do it for you? Have we invested in the big platforms of our time at the expense of our own?
While it’s true that we all rely upon “things” that others build and maintain, overreliance and giving away too much control can hurt you in the long run. In today’s podcast, I want to talk about finding the balance and doing what’s best for your longterm strategy.

  • ROI was Important, Now it’s Critical
    https://www.jimgaliano.com/subscribe
Nothing Matters More Right Now than R.O.I. (return on investment). This applies to everything – money, time, personal energy, etc. Personally, I spent the last few months doing the work I tend to put off. Why? It all comes back to ROI.
Sometimes the biggest ROI tasks are the hardest to get done because they require more focus. I guess it’s human nature to put off doing things today that can be done tomorrow.
Consider your clients or prospective clients. Many run businesses that have a lot of moving parts, multiple employees, a significant overhead, etc. As we enter the 9th month of the year, it’s obvious that 2020 has taken a toll on them.
For them as well as for you and I, nothing matters more right now than getting a return on our investment.

  • Do You Need a Better Plan?
The other day I sat down the help someone plan out their online business strategy and in the process, I found myself approaching the planning process a little bit differently than I have in the past.
For example, it’s easy to recognize the things you’re not good at and identify things that can be improve. It’s easy to identify what’s lacking and put time, energy and money into filling the gaps.
There are certain times in life, however, when it makes more sense to push all those things to the side and do more of what you’re already good at. And in the process – that becomes your “new plan” as you push through the fog of uncertainty.
The world was changing before coronavirus. The current situation has just expedited the change. In today’s podcast, I’ll be sharing some thoughts on planning, new technologies, and the ever-changing business landscape.

  • You Can Settle for What You Have or Fight for Something Bett
I think it’s good to recognize the challenges that most business owners face on today’s road to success. Marketplaces are overcrowded. There are masses of people who, at least on the surface, appear to more or less be doing the same thing you’re doing. Every week we see the release of more courses, more software, and more of everything we already have a lot of.
And this was all happening before the coronavirus outbreak and the shutdowns that followed. I know, you may be tempted to cover your ears. Why mention all of this?
Because it’s important to deal with reality without getting depressed or incapacitated by it. In today’s episode, I want to talk about how the “short-cut culture” has failed people and why you should put it in the rear-view mirror.
In today’s podcast, we’ll be talking about “staying power,” and why you need to prepare yourself to (as Rocky Balboa once said) go the distance!
