  • Your 6-Month Plan for the Rest of the Year
    https://www.JimGaliano.com/
We are six months through the year. Before you know it, we’ll be pushing through the remaining months and you’ll find yourself wondering where all the time has gone. This is your wake-up call. If you feel like you’ve been more or less spinning your wheels most of this year, this podcast episode is just for you.
Today, let’s step back, take a look at the big picture, and determine which path makes the most sense going forward. I’ll show you how to make a simple plan. One that you can follow through on. One that motivates you. If you’re willing to do a little soul-searching and introspection, this can be your turning point.
In today’s podcast, I’m going to talk about making a plan, getting motivated and making the changes that will really make a difference in your business. We’ll also be talking about having a “Plan B” ready and in place to hit if/when you hit the wall.
That and more in today’s podcast.

  • Recapturing that Old Excitement One More Time
    https://www.JimGaliano.com
Remember when you were first starting out on your business journey? Deep down inside, there was something your wanted to build. Something you were reaching for, and it filled your day with energy and excitement.
Maybe you got sidetracked? Or, maybe you tried to build something – thinking you had all the pieces only to learn that you didn’t?
That initial excitement or energy, however, fueled your earlier efforts. Now, fast forward to the present. You have some scars, no doubt. You’ve fought your battles. But… what if you could recapture that initial, internal, lightning in the bottle once again?
With the right target, and a fresh goal or vision based on the present (instead of the past), I believe you can do just that.
If you like how that sounds, you’ll enjoy today’s podcast!

  • Survive or Thrive? What Kind of Plan are You Following?
    https://www.JimGaliano.com |
Today is the 100th Episode of this podcast! First, I’d like to thank all of you for your support and feedback. I’m looking forward to another 100 episodes in the years ahead!
In today’s podcast, I want to talk about surviving vs thriving and having a plan for both.
I started my own business, like many people do, with big dreams. My plans, however, focused more on making ends meet before moving on to bigger and better things. That was my approach. I had bills to pay and yes, it was challenging. I took whatever work or business that came my way.
Over time, I realized there were better methods and better strategies than the ones I started with. I learned what type of clients were a good fit and what types weren’t from real-world experience.
I was ready to make a change for the better. I moved from a survival-based plan to a thrive-based one. One that would take me to a completely different level of success. Maybe this progression is something you can personally relate to? If so, I think you’ll really like today’s podcast.

  • Focus and Freedom
    https://www.jimgaliano.com -
In the world of online business, my experience has taught me that focus leads to freedom (in every sense of the word). During the past few weeks, I’ve enjoyed some time “disconnected” from the online world. As always, the time away has allowed me to see things from a fresh vantage point.
In today’s podcast, I want to share with your how you can experience the same – even if you can’t afford to take more than a day away from connected lifestyle!

  • The Digital Consultant (Part 3)
    https://www.jimgaliano.com |
The online world has become an increasingly complex place to do business. This is why I believe there’s a long-term opportunity available for those entering the field of digital consulting.
Consider the complexity of your own path through the online world over the past several years. Think about how many options you’ve had to sift through? There are a thousand flavors of everything. The paths you can take are endless.
Now, imagine having to invest all that time bogged down in research while running another business (on top that). That’s what most of your clients are dealing with. There just aren’t enough hours in the day for the average business owner to figure things out.
So, if you’re looking to increase your income by increasing your perceived value in the marketplace, today’s podcast will be a “great fit” for you!

  • The Digital Consultant (Part 2)
    https://www.jimgaliano.com |
Some people get paid for what they do. Others get paid much more for what they know. Knowledge, however, usually demands a much higher price point than labor does. An office or factory paints a very clear picture of this. The people doing the “heavy lifting” are making lower wages or receiving lower pay than the people managing them.
In today’s podcast, I want to continue to look at the role of a digital consultant. From this place, you have an opportunity to increase your value with existing and future clients.
In a competitive space, good advice is often worth its weight in gold!

  • The Digital Consultant (Part 1)
    https://www.jimgaliano.com |
Some people get paid for what they do. Others get paid a lot more for what they KNOW. The truth is, knowledge usually carries with it a higher price point than labor does. As crazy as it sounds, people who seemingly know more (but do less) still get paid more.
In today’s podcast, I want to take a closer look at the system we’re working in and how, for better or worse, “perceived value” is seen in the real world. I’ll also be talking about the role of a digital consultant and how you can implement it within your current business structure. Why? So you can start increasing your value in the marketplace.
If you’re ready for a bit of a change in your life and business (or you're in the place where you're starting to think about it), I hope you’ll join me for today’s podcast!

  • My “Strategic” Backstory
    https://www.JimGaliano.com |
In today’s podcast, I’d like a share a bit of my backstory. In sports, there’s a saying that when two evenly matched teams or opponents compete, the one with the better strategy will win. A combat sport, such as boxing, illustrates this point perhaps best of all.
The right strategy can be tailored to fit you and your business needs the way clothes can be custom tailored to fit your exact physical dimensions. Although I didn’t realize it during the early years, what I learned from my Grandfather’s life in the fight game (he was a Hall of Fame boxing trainer and cornerman who worked with several world champions) would eventually change how I saw and applied strategy to business.
Get the full brain dump in today’s podcast.

  • The Next Big Challenge
    https://www.jimgaliano.com
Selling something, teaching something, or offering services that help people solve problems they’re desperately looking to solve is what it takes to keep a steady flow of clients or customers heading your way.
In this episode, I want to talk about how your next big challenge might be to prepare yourself to do just that! Make no mistake about it, it's all in the details.
That and more in today’s podcast.
