  • The Sell without Selling Approach
I started out as a builder, not a seller. I loved the creative process. Then, I realized the key wasn’t building the thing… it was selling it! Without a sales process in place, money doesn’t exchange hands and you struggle to get by.
Thankfully, there’s a way to SELL without SELLING. As crazy as that may sound, it really does work! That and more in today’s podcast.

  • What is the Market Buying - 2018-2019
Timing is everything in business. One of the easiest ways to make money is to sell what people are already buying. The alternative is risky. As we close out 2018, I want to take a look at what services are selling… and what will probably continue to sell well through 2019.

Today I want to talk about Direct Marketing. I’m going to share the approach that I’ve learned and refined over the last few decades online. We’ll also look at how you can apply this to your own business.

  • Using the Backwards Planning Technique
A business colleague (who was former special ops in the military) shared the backward planning technique. They used it when planning missions in the military. Later, he used the method to grow his business.
Although it sounded simple enough, in theory, I never used it in practice until much later. It was then that I discovered that backward planning activates parts of the brain that are dormant during the common method of “forward planning.”
The results? A recent study showed that backward planning led to much higher levels of success and performance for those who used it. That and more in today’s podcast!

  • Different Approaches to Personal Branding
Back in my college days, branding was taught with an emphasis and focus on designs, color, and various types of imagery. Today, it’s taught with more of an emphasis on personal style and marketing.
