  • Are You Focused and Motivated?
Focus and motivation. Even the most talented people in the world find it difficult to succeed without a healthy dose of both. The sports world gives us plenty of examples of individuals who overcame many obstacles (including physical ones). What they all had in common was that they were all highly focused and motivated.
Imagine what kind of impact a fresh dose of focus and motivation can have on your own life (not to mention your business life)?
I’m guessing if we put the focused version of you against the unfocused version of you – the focused version would win every time. The same goes for the motivated and the unmotivated version.
Although there isn’t a magic pill you can take to give you either, I believe awareness may be one of the keys to making some changes for the better.
That and more in today’s podcast.

  • Getting Started with Business Automation & Semi-Automation
Most first-time online business owners don’t start their businesses with topics like automation, semi-automation, and business scaling at the forefront of their minds. That usually comes later once they realize they have a viable business on their hands.
In today’s episode, we’ll be talking about business automation, semi-automation, and business scaling. Scaling an online business in 2022 is doable for more solopreneurs (regardless of experience level) than ever before.
That said, most business owners find this is more of a gradual, step-by-step process than an overnight one. Is it possible to build something bigger and better than what you’re currently working with today?
More on this topic in today’s episode!

  • Email Marketing for Everyone Else
In today’s episode, I’d like to talk about email marketing for “everyone else.” There are many different approaches to email marketing. Like the old saying in boxing, “Styles make fights.” The same principle applies to marketing. Some “styles” however, happen to be a lot more complex than others.
Overall, I think email marketing has been made unnecessarily difficult for the average business person. Over the past twenty-plus years, I’ve never seen more business owners stumble over and struggle with a topic, strategy, or activity as I’ve seen with email marketing.
I’ve seen every type of issue from – paralysis by analysis (or people overwhelmed by too many options) to the opposite side of the spectrum with people staring at a blank screen not knowing what to say.
Thankfully, email marketing doesn’t have to be complex to be effective.
If you’re ready to get started with email marketing to connect with your market and build your brand, I think you’ll enjoy today’s episode!

  • You Can Change Everything
Some people call it hope. Others may refer to it as a dream or a vision. If you’ve ever started a business, or have one now, you know exactly what I’m talking about. It’s the very thing that inspired you to start what was once a new business. On a higher level, it’s the thing that makes your success seem possible and within reach.
Although we could apply this to anything in life, I’d like to look at this in the context of the business world. Yes, sometimes circumstances rob people of the belief that they can experience success and build a thriving business. Or, for those who’ve already experienced some success, that the better days are behind them.
In today’s episode, I want to talk about taking the “lid off” your hopes. I want to talk about thinking bigger and the process of replacing doubts with belief. In short, I want to talk about why making changes for the better is something that’s within reach for all of us.
Finally, I want to talk about a simple way to get started on your journey immediately.

  • Creating a Membership Site for Recurring Income
This week a good friend of mine was sharing information about starting and running a successful membership site. He started his business back in the 1990s, and he’s run multiple membership sites over the years… so he really has some insights into what makes a membership site work and what doesn’t.
It's funny but, when you bring up a topic like this, many of the people I know will immediately talk about the pros and cons of using WordPress vs using another platform that’s out there. Topics like membership plugins and learning management platforms (such as Teachable) become the primary focus.
But in his mind, all of that is secondary to the membership business model and what goes into building the business side of things.
That’s what I’m going to share with you today. I think you’re going to love it!

  • Getting Traffic to Your Website and Offers
I remember the first time I heard someone say, “Social media is the new SEO.” Generally speaking, that appeared to be the case from around 2010 to 2020. For about a decade, everything was easier to do on social media. I’m talking about list building, networking, advertising, and building your brand. The best part was, that not only did social media work, but it worked without paid ads!
That was then, but this is now. Today, the future of your business may depend upon you being able to get traffic to your website and your offers. How will new people discover YOU over the next two to five years? That’s what we’ll be discussing in today’s episode.

  • Affiliate Marketing for Solopreneurs
Today, I wanted to share an episode that was originally released about a year ago. Insights from a friend of mine who was a 6-Figure Affiliate Marketer changed my views on how I see the world of Affiliate Marketing. I think it will be the same for you.
Most affiliates struggle to make pocket change consistently, let alone a full-time income. If you’re even mildly interested in making money with affiliate marketing, I think you’re really going to enjoy today’s episode!

  • Advertising Fallout: Insiders Admit to Corrupting the Data
Today, I want to talk about corruption in the advertising and marketing world. Many people already see online marketers in a way that’s similar to how they view used car salespeople. But the latest court revelations really pull back the curtain on just how bad things have gotten.
In 2019, Facebook agreed to a $40 million settlement of a class-action suit brought by advertisers who claimed they overpaid for video ads based on overstated video-viewing metrics shared by the company.
“Overstated” is legalese for FAKE. You don’t lie, you overstate.
A new (3rd) class action suit is currently moving full speed ahead and includes plaintiffs who spent as little as $300 in ad spending to others who invested over a million dollars.
The corruption doesn’t begin and end with Facebook, however. Far from it. It is widespread and touches every platform you can think of. I’ll explain the rest in today’s episode.
