This is an interesting world!  Right now I am working on 3 or 4 and as I was speaking to someone about what was working and what wasn't.  So the jist...

Converting VS. Not

• The ones that convert really well (10-15%), the webinars are all about simplicity.
• Do not complicate what people want to buy!
• When people want a transformation, your audience needs to believe that it is simple for them.
• Make them [the audience] realize there is ONE thing they need to do. 

 "A confused mind, doesn't buy!" Remember that --> KEEP THINGS SIMPLE, BE MORE DIRECT.

Oh boy - you guys are in for a treat! Welcome to another episode of Sold with Webinars. Changing it up today; we have a guest expert.  Someone I am bringing on THREE times now. You know if I have someone on my show three times, they are good!

Travis Stephenson is an affiliate marketer, software entrepreneur, marketing coach and public speaker in addition to being a webinar expert!  He has a very interesting method of boosting his sales using messenger bots! 

Travis is the CEO at Chatmatic; is an Affiliate Marketing and Affiliate Marketing trainer. He specializes in teaching people how to create a businesses for themselves or helping people grow their already running business to a new scale. Whether it's a brick and mortar business or an online based business, he helps those companies get more traffic to their site/ store.

State of the industry:

• Number 1: Messenger is not going to replace email.  Messenger is, at its core, a conversation.  Nothing can convince someone to buy quicker than talking with them.  There is a comfort in knowing that you will be able to speak with someone.  
• The most effective thing you can do is let the conversation allow that person to out of their own way.
• You can buy engagement BUT you cannot buy conversation -- because it has to be REAL.
• We tested in with $30K --> the results were incredible!!
• --> We reached more people, our lead cost went way down and our sales went way up.

Plus:

• Advantage of using conversation aka messenger bots
• Be the "speaker on the stage";
• How do I get more people to sign up or show up for the webinar?;
• The difference between comment baiting and incentivizing conversation;
• Messenger BOT sounds very automated... it's NOT at all, it needs to be personal!
• Do not think of it as "messenger or email", look at it as an asset deliverable program.
• "We expect the world to come to us now"... so do not ignore it, messenger is a way for them to connect with you.

Welcome to another episode of Sold With Webinars! I recorded this episode specifically for you because I want YOU to make more money with your business! I want YOU to stop treating your webinar as a product and I want you to start thinking of how you can 5 or 10X your business without any extra effort.

This episode is kind of a rant, but I am sick and tired of people buying into the fact that they need this $997 course, that it will be their golden ticket! It might be the ticket, but it won't be ever-lasting... so without further ado...

If you have been following any of the big name marketers, you have also probably been leaving money on the table. 

Falling victim to the $997 curse! Everyone thinks they need the $997 course.  I don't know why it has been hammered into our heads that we need this. But those who are successful in selling their $997 course, are over delivering.  What I mean by that is, some of my clients have been providing over the top support, access, coaching for minimal profits a month minus all that fulfillment overhead.

Make the shift: understand your true value and what people really want to pay for.  Stop the cycle, stop the burn-out. 

Rule #1 - do not offer lifetime access as a bonus.

The real money is made on the back-end.

People don't want to buy courses, they want to pay for access.

Think about it, a book only costs $5-$10. Why? Because it comes with no access. 

Once you build your webinar as a business model, leverage your webinar, you can 10X your value. How? It's by adding support and implementation help... but for an extra cost. 

How can you work this into your business? Don't cannibalize your back-end!

Today I am going to share our webinar funnel that BROKE all SALES RECORDS!  This will be a quick episode and one that you won't want to miss....

The more I read about marketing, the more I realize how little I know. Meaning, the more I research marketing, the more opportunities that arise. 

In the world of marketing, there are two angles that most people believe in, "you can lead with pain or you can lead with pleasure."

So, which one do you think would perform better?  Do you thinking leading with pain would lead to a higher response rate or leading with a pleasure?

Prior to about 5 weeks ago, I would have said that leading with a pain would produce a higher response. Not so with this client of mine! 

We were building a mini-webinar and although there is always a little bit of uncertainty when you launch, we lead with pleasure with this campaign.  This client had AMAZING results!

--> LISTEN for results

--> Closed a $10,000 offer with $54 ad spend!

--> Closed two after the first 10 leads. That's $20,000 almost immediately with a $54 ad spend!

This is just incredible.

The "Mega-Webinar" Funnel!

Today within the group, we had two webinar ad experts appear LIVE.  They donated their time and broke down some of our members ad accounts LIVE. SUPER valuable! 

Then I did a live training - a live breakdown of Dr. Axe's webinar funnel.  And it was a lot of fun! The group got to listen to me watch the webinar live and break it down. Literally everyone got a peek into how my brain operates when I break down webinars for my clients.

Now I am not going to give away all the secrets, but here are some of the things I wanted to share with you now:

• Dr. Axe paired up two funnels into one;
• The "Mega Funnel" was AWESOME;
• When I build/write webinars I am always crafting the messaging, content and angles.  This is all of your hot, warm, and cold traffic content - USE THIS CONTENT again and again;
• Repurposed content is what we do -> when you complete your webinar you are also completing content that can be used in different forms and in different places;
• So many "ah-ha" moments during my live...

Today we are discussing: Where is the best place for our webinar within our grand marketing space?

There are many ways to apply a webinar.

When speaking with clients, I am always looking for the answer to this question: "Where is this webinar going within your product or suite of offers?"

Number 1: DIAL IN YOUR OFFER

Number 2: Quickest way to monetize the offer

So where will the webinar be the most effective?

• When is broad too broad?
• How large is your mass market really?
• Dominate one market first... then expand. Example: Dominate the webinar market, then move into our new business, Experts Unleashed.
• Become an EXPERT, take the time to really research and practice your expertise. And continue to learn.
• So where does a webinar fit in your marketing scheme...
• If you are doing a direct selling webinar then you want to make sure that you can get people on your webinar affordably.  This will take some trial and error, but it could be the best use of your time and money.
• Find that sweet spot between too mass market vs. too niche.

Update on the stats of our free funnel...

Lots of lessons learned and content to absorb...

This will literally transform your business...

Fulfilling on my promise, I will update you on our free funnel.

The way I think about business and selling is not to necessarily lead with free.  

"Free campaign" info and results:

• Top of mind vs free content
• Approach: LEAD with an OFFER
• But I tested leading with free..so how did it work?
• Facebook Group, five day challenge
• I assumed -> high engagement but ultimately enabling people to follow me for free content
• Results -> Day 1: Massive spike in engagement -> Day 5: Engagement was zero
• Offers were made and content dripped out throughout the week
• Not one single person applied
• Maybe 1 or 2 people converted to the free trial with only 1 actually paying for the subscription
• Total profit: $97 

My typical campaign would consist of promoting to a small hot list, lead with stories of inspirational and testimonials; converted $60k in revenue plus back end sales. Earnings per lead - $75.

So essentially I made more off the leads who were interested in my offer as opposed to those who I gave content away for free too.

"When you lead with free, you attract people who are naturally not going to buy.  When you lead with an offer, you are hyper-qualifying people and getting them interested in what you can offer. Everyone is looking for a solution!"

"When you lead with an offer you get people to know you can solve a problem...You give them permission to market."

Content is still king, but you need to do it in the proper order.

I recently went out to LA to consult with a client.  He has an unbelievable offer!

My client was talking about this idea of how people are afraid to make offers.  You have people who are great at direct response and others who are brand awareness/audience builders.  We chatted about some big name influencers who are terrified to make offers!  

 

Revenue is what keeps your business pumping.  The Perfect Expert is being able to leverage your ability to make offers to your audience and then build your audience.  Your audience will then become so much more valuable.  

Bottom line: Train your audience to take action to offers you make.
