This market is on fire. Do you buy now or do you wait? That is the question. See, we just went through a bunch of changes in the last year when we went from firing hot bidding wars left and right, market going absolutely crazy. Then what happened? Interest rates went up. Now everyone says gay market is coming down. I'm going to wait for the bottom.

I'm going to wait for it to come down. I'm going to wait for the market to crash. Some people just went, Whoa, what do I do? I got four years, three years, whatever left in my mortgage. I'm going to wait it out because I can keep my low rates. So if I move, then I lose my low rate.

So some people pulled back. Listings went down. Now 2023, what do we have? Bidding wars again. Now the question is, is this going to be something that's here for a very long time again, or is this a short little bump? That's one thing we don't know. And nobody can predict that. Nobody has a crystal ball. But if you're waiting for the bottom to fall out, I think that's already happened.

So my suggestion is, if you need to move, then move. And if you don't need to move, then you can decide, maybe invest. You got to look at what you can afford and then decide what's the best option. But if you're looking to buy, get in now.

Minute Mondays Episode 93: Taking a Rest, It's OK!

Today, I want to talk to you about the need to rest, the need to take a break. Sometimes what happens is you have so much on your plate, you feel overwhelmed, you feel over, exhausted and you have something else that's added to your plate. And now you're wondering how do you handle it all? Like example, you produce content every single day.

You're producing multiple pieces of content. You got so much to do for this content. And then on top of that, you have your daily tasks at work. Maybe you are at school and you have homework or you have an exam to prepare for whatever it is and you decide that you're going to do something. I'm going to use myself as an example.

I have recently enrolled in the mortgage exam or mortgage program. I just took my test last Friday, so for the last two weeks you might have noticed my content level has been low. Why? Because I became overwhelmed with my day to day tasks, midday to day work. Plus I had the mortgage program, plus I had to write the exam and be prepared for that which I passed.

So, you know, so that's going to be an added service to the fact that I sell real estate. So I have a real estate license and I will have a mortgage brokers or mortgage agents license. So with that being said, just like you need a vacation sometimes, sometimes you need to step back and take a break. And that's okay.

We all need a moment to take a rest or a step back from something. And that gives us the opportunity to refocus, you know, to come up with fresh new ideas, repurpose. And sometimes that gives us the extra edge when we come back. As long as your rest isn't every second week, just like a vacation, it's once a year.
