Queen's groundbreaking 1973 debut album Queen has been remixed, remastered, and expanded in a 6CD+1LP box set titled Queen I Collector’s Edition. This edition restores the album to how Queen originally intended, remixed by Justin Shirley-Smith, Joshua J Macrae, and Kris Fredriksson. It includes a new tracklisting, alternative takes, demos, and live tracks, along with the very first stereo remix of a Queen album.

The 6CD+1LP set features 63 tracks, 43 of which are brand-new mixes, including intimate studio audio, rare live recordings, and Queen’s first-ever live performance from London in August 1970. Notably, the previously excluded track "Mad the Swine" has been reintroduced to its original place in the running order. Accompanying the set is a 108-page book with handwritten lyrics and memorabilia, housed in a two-piece box with a fold-out poster and photo prints.

On tonight's episode of Exclusively Van Halen, we talk about the story of Eddie Van Halen’s collaboration with Thomas Dolby, where Eddie contributed to two tracks ("Eastern Bloc" and "Close But No Cigar") on Dolby's 1992 album Astronauts & Heretics. Despite being in the midst of recording Van Halen's 1991 album For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge, Eddie invited Dolby to his home studio to work on the songs, creating an experience Dolby likened to "a scene from Spinal Tap."
