-The 12 Thai boys trapped in a flooded cave, as well as their coach, have been released from hospital! The group was shown on television together for the first time since their ordeal began.

-Langley MLA Rich Coleman has announced while he won’t be running for the mayor of Surrey, despite claiming he has ‘overwhelming support’. He’s left the door open to speculation about his next move though, saying he will not be leaving the arena of provincial politics. Meanwhile, former mayor Doug McCallum has thrown his hat in the ring; saying this time around he can make a difference.

-ICBC said people should be taking a refresher course online to reduce the number of collisions. Jerry Boal from ICBC says the simple test on the website is all it takes. He’s noticed that many people are failing the test!

-Everybody knows you’re not supposed to touch a sports trophy! So what is going to happen with Justin Thomas?

-Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shuffled his cabinet on Wednesday with changes that put the spotlight on trade diversification, border security and interprovincial affairs, issues that will likely be hot topics in the 2019 federal election.

-The trade war between CAD and US can impact personal finances in many ways. Consumers could see some price hikes on a few selected items impacted by the tariffs and weakened labor markets in those industries.
Chapter 12:
-The University of Washington has created a new course for students designed to tackle the scourge of fake news. It drills down on the importance of facts and data in a bid to stamp out the fake news we’re bombarded with across the internet.

-New polling is out showing that Canadians are equally divided on whether they support or oppose the pipeline.
